Borasso Spirits - celebrating the flavors of South Louisiana! Owner and head distiller Ewan Willey founded Borasso Spirits in 2017 after years of experience in Louisiana’s shipping industry. He used shipping principles to devise his distilling process, citing in both processes similar methods by which water, fuel and chemicals are moved. Borasso’s uniquely crafted liquors (rum, gin, vodka and absinthe) use hyperlocal ingredients harvested from right here in Louisiana, celebrate the flavors (and the stories!) of the Gulf South and beyond. The distillery features a tasting room with extraordinary relics of New Orleans history, including colorful set pieces once used in TV/film and theatre sets, and antique papier-mache Mardi Gras float pieces from as early as the 1940s!

Fleur de Lis Event Center is an all-inclusive wedding and event venue in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the Northshore about 35 minutes from New Orleans. Housed in a movie theater transformed over three years, the space was designed to evoke a New Orleans spring evening — stucco walls, brick columns, gas lanterns, and signature star-lit ceilings. Each ballroom opens onto its own private courtyard with brick walls, greenery, and a permanent wrought-iron ceremony dome and chandelier. Three distinct spaces: the Pontchartrain Ballroom for approximately 100 to 500 guests, with a functional balcony seating nearly 100 and an illuminated architectural cake backdrop; the Jazz Ballroom for approximately 50 to 300, with two indoor fountains, a brick-top bar, and a dedicated picture room; and the Private Restaurant for up to approximately 100, ideal for rehearsal dinners, showers, and smaller celebrations. No hard guest minimum. Each space has its own entrance, courtyard, restrooms, bar, and staff, so two events run simultaneously with no sound transfer.
