The Navy Yard Car Barn has been the final station on the Red Line for nearly a century, repairing and rerouting streetcars for the Capital Transit Company across the nation's capital. This old car barn has now been transformed into a cutting-edge event space with a range of flexible areas for retreats, corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, parties, and various other kinds of social gatherings. The Main Hall is situated in the heart of the Capital Turnaround, much like the locomotive's powerplant. The versatility of this event space makes it easy to execute any client's concept with its open floor plan, exposed brick design, and modern-LED screens. This century-old garage, which was once a historic car barn from the 1800s, has been transformed into a cutting-edge performance venue with 823 seats and LED screens. The Capital Turnaround is outfitted with three enormous green rooms, similar to how a train's sleeping compartment was designed to provide passengers with a private sanctuary to relax and unwind throughout their journey. These spaces are furnished with trendy furnishings, restrooms, a kitchenette, and a cozy fireplace to complete the ambiance and allow the speaker or musician to relax and prepare for their moment on stage. While in the Capital Turnaround green rooms, everyone feels like a true VIP. The Capital Turnaround includes a range of areas for small and big gatherings and meetings, similar to the carriage, coach, and corridor cars of a railway train, making it an ideal location for corporate meetings or social functions.

Albi is the chef/owner Michael Rafidi's first solo restaurant venture in New York City. Esquire and Robb Report Magazines named Chef Rafidi as the Best New Restaurant in 2020, drawing inspiration from his family's Palestinian roots and bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region's coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal ingredients and a refined culinary acumen. With the help of Wine Director William Simons, the restaurant offers an eclectic, international wine program that is anchored by offerings from countries throughout the eastern Mediterranean, including Palestine, Lebanon, and Turkey. The wine list, which is constantly evolving, includes categories such as Savory Whites and Smoky Reds - all of which have been selected to complement Chef Rafidi's menus. Albi, a restaurant in Washington, D.C.'s Navy Yard neighborhood, is owned and operated by Michael Rafidi, who is also the chef. A creative update to traditional Arabic cuisine, using Modern techniques and the best ingredients the Mid-Atlantic has to offer, the menus are offered at the restaurant. His Palestinian ancestors and his grandmother's cooking served as inspiration for this piece. Rafidi spent a countless number of years cooking everything but Arabic food all over the country until he decided to open Albi in 2017. Rafidi was named Eater DC's Chef of the Year in 2017 and was a finalist for the RAMMY Award for Rising Star Chef at the 2018 RAMMY Awards, which were presented by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. Rafidi spent six years working alongside Michael Mina as executive chef of the acclaimed French restaurant RN74 in San Francisco, as well as the Mina Group's corporate chef, before making his mark on the District's restaurant scene. He assisted the culinary management of the group's multinational properties and was instrumental in the opening of eight of those concepts in his capacity as a consultant. Rafidi grew up in Maryland and has worked at a number of well-regarded East Coast establishments, including the Blue Duck Tavern in Washington, D.C., and Talula's Garden in Philadelphia. His stage time at chef René Redzepi's internationally acclaimed Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, helped to develop his appreciation for foraging and other culinary techniques from around the world, which he later applied to his own cooking.

Osteria Morini, which opened in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood in 2010, brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to the historic Navy Yards in Washington, D.C. Osteria Morini was first opened in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood in 2010. While Emilia-Romagna is well-known as the "Italian Breadbasket," the region is also known for producing some of the flavors and ingredients that are most closely associated with Italian cuisine around the world. These include prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, and balsamic vinegar. osteria is an Italian term that refers to a place where the proprietor "hosts" guests. Dinner is served seven nights a week at this establishment. The open kitchen allows guests to observe the action as their meal is being prepared in front of them. In addition to receiving two and a half stars from the Washington Post, Osteria Morini also received two and a half stars from Washingtonian Magazine. Ismail and Betul Uslu are the owners of Agora DC and Agora Tysons, which are both family-owned and operated. Ismail worked tirelessly for three years, devoting his time and energy to improving every aspect of Agora. In 2008, he made the decision to take a leap of faith and purchase the entire company, Agora DC. As of 2016, Betul had decided to leave her banking career to devote her full attention to her roles at Agora DC and Agora Tysons. Betul specializes in private events, whereas Ismail is more focused on restaurant operations and bringing the essence and soul of the places he works by bringing his Turkish culture and hospitality to the United States and Canada. Ismet Sahin, the Executive Chef, was born and raised in Marmaris, Turkey, and he introduces us to the country's diverse cuisine and gastronomy. Ismet Chef hails from the same region of Turkey as Ismail Uslu, and the energy at Agora is a perfect match for their personalities and styles. He began his career at Agora DC and, as his career progressed, he assumed responsibility for both Agora's DC and Tysons. Ismet's various ventures in Turkey, including his work with chefs at five-star hotels, have added a great deal of flavor to Agora and expanded the variety of food options available. In the heart of the bustling Dupont Circle neighborhood, Agora D.C., a family-owned Mediterranean Mezze Restaurant, offers aromatic elements and textures inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Turkey, blended with flavors from Greece and Lebanon. Executive Chef Ismet Sahin, a native of southern Turkey, focuses on delivering the familiarity of traditional Turkish cuisine with a modern twist inspired by seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and international spices, according to the chef. The restaurant also serves a complimentary, award-winning selection of local and Mediterranean wines and beers, as well as handcrafted cocktails such as the Lion's Milk, which is a special drink made with the beloved Turkish spirit, Raki. Take a seat at our table with your friends, family, or significant other for a dining experience that will transport you to the heart of the Mediterranean.
