The Winery at La Grange sits on land originally part of Robert "King" Carter's Bull Run Tract in Haymarket, Virginia, and traces its centerpiece — a three-story red brick manor house — to builder George Green. Boxwoods planted generations ago have grown to over 20 feet, forming a natural archway along the stone path that connects the manor house to the winery. Benoni E. Harrison purchased the property in 1827 and later served as Prince William County's delegate to the Virginia General Assembly; his name lives on today in Benoni's Lounge, the estate's stone-walled cellar. The winery grows 6.3 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng grapes on the working farm, producing wines described as ones where "every glass tells a story." For weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings, the property's Barn Building serves as its main event space, with suggested floor plans accommodating up to 150 guests and wedding rentals that include the ballroom, bar, bridal suite, patios, kitchen, and grounds.

We are in a historic setting, open four seasons with a welcoming atmosphere at any time of year. We placed Ultraviolet lights in our HVAC systems in 2020, which ensures that the air flowing from our system is free of viruses and molds and filters the air in the room continually. In addition, unlike most barns, we have enormous windows that embrace the natural light that streams in via ceiling cupolas and windows from the loft, billowing through the room to the French glass doors leading to our covered verandas. Guests can take in the breathtaking views of the Middleburg countryside, which serve as a lovely backdrop for lifelong memories! The property has been passed down through generations — originally cultivating tobacco, now growing soybeans, corn, and sunflowers — and that agricultural heritage gives the setting a genuinely rural character that's harder to manufacture. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests inside the heated and air-conditioned barn, or up to 150 guests with an outdoor dance floor. Wedding packages range from a Basic Reception to a Premier option that includes extensive furniture and décor choices; à la carte menus round out the catering offerings. Dressing rooms are available for the bridal party, and guests are welcome to wander the lawn and flower gardens between ceremony and reception. Flora Corner Farm hosts one event at a time, making the entire property private for each booking. a brief overview of our organization When we were planning to attend our daughter's wedding, we had no idea how amazing the day would turn out to be. The happiness we felt as we saw her go down the aisle on our family farm planted the seed for what is today known as The Oak Barn at Loyalty. On 21 acres of rolling hills, wide meadows, and expansive wooded areas, we are happy to present our two-story farm venue. Our barn, which was built by Amish craftsmen, includes indoor and outdoor rooms to suit events in any season. You can dance under the stars in our courtyard or sit on our balcony and take in the breathtaking vistas of the Shenandoah Mountains. We believe that our space is one-of-a-kind. EVENTS Mt. Defiance is the perfect location for your next private or group event, wedding, or other special occasion. With a big area and facilities, our lovely Cider Barn can accommodate gatherings for up to 200 people. Wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and family pictures can all be held on our expansive porch and patio. Our Philosophy Cider is finally reclaiming its rightful place as America's table drink, a position it had during Colonial times and for much of the nineteenth century to the present. The different schools of thought about cider are evident today, particularly in Virginia where we obtain our apples and produce our cider: from the traditional farm cideries where classic cider apples are pressed and the juice fully fermented with only yeast added, to the cutting edge cider makers who are influenced by the craft beer movement and infuse their ciders with a riotous blend of new and historic natural flavors. Our Ciders are made in small batches. When it comes to our Cidery, Mount Defiance is extremely proud to offer both classic and craft ciders. In addition to traditional farmhouse blends of dry cider and single variety cider, we enjoy infusing fresh ginger for a seriously ginger-flavored cider, as well as a full spectrum of infused and co-fermented ciders ranging from honey (cyser) to blueberries to our five pepper cider, which is designed to withstand barbecues. Every season comes with it a new set of flavors to tempt our clients. The Pavilion at Weatherly is a waterfront farm wedding and events venue set on 25 private acres along the Potomac River in Newburg, Maryland, roughly an hour south of Washington, DC. The property offers more than 600 feet of shoreline, 180-degree river views, and a 130-foot lighted pier extending over the water — a combination that gives it a rare sense of natural privacy without sacrificing accessibility for out-of-town guests. The centerpiece of the property is a timber frame pavilion built with a contemporary country aesthetic and nautical touches. Douglas fir posts and beams define the interior, while a glass wall facing the river and 12 glass doors that open onto the lawn and beach keep the connection to the water immediate. A 40-foot masonry fireplace anchors one end of the main floor, and a full bar with granite, copper, and antique mirror finishes runs along the opposite wall. Wedding packages include event planning services and day-of coordination, along with exclusive catering from Savoir Fare Limited, the venue's in-house caterer; outside catering is not permitted. Couples receive exclusive use of The Stable for a nine-hour window on their wedding day, and a whole-house generator keeps the celebration running in the event of a power outage.
