  Ed developed and built Winding Brooks as a labor of love. He was motivated to develop these lovely gardens by his love of plants, flowers, the land, and wildlife. Water elements with flowing streams softly fall to a huge water pond are part of the park-like setting. The gardens have a variety of natural rock and boulders, water plants, numerous plant and flower species, two pergola spaces for outdoor ceremonies, and interestingly shaped trees for everyone to enjoy. This breathtaking scenery serves as the backdrop for a 5,000-square-foot banquet hall that can accommodate up to 250 guests and includes very large bridal and groom rooms! The grounds and rustic building work together to create the ideal indoor or outdoor wedding venue to make your event or photographic session even more memorable! Weddings & Receptions We will offer the lovely setting, and you will fill in the rest of the details to make it your own.   Tonkawa Falls Event Center has hosted celebrations for the Central Texas area since 1981, set inside Tonkawa Park in Crawford, Texas. The 6,000-square-foot facility seats up to 320 guests around a 2,400-square-foot hardwood dance floor, with a large carpeted stage and lighting for a band, DJ, or ceremony. The room is acoustically designed to keep noise levels manageable, suiting it to weddings, anniversaries, reunions, graduations, baptisms, and other gatherings. A well-equipped kitchen — with an ice machine, walk-in cooler with beer dispensers, electric drink box, electric range, and microwave — supports events that bring their own food, catering, and beverages, and a large parking area serves arriving guests.
