  Perched on a bluff above the Colorado River in Bastrop, Texas, The Mansion at ColoVista is a destination wedding venue about 25 minutes from Austin's airport. The 17,000-square-foot estate sits on a golf course property, giving couples river views and sunset backdrops for ceremonies and portraits. The mansion's interior seats up to 250 to 275 guests for a peak dinner reception, with additional outdoor dinner seating available to expand guest counts further. Wedding packages include venue time ranging from several hours up to 13 or more consecutive hours, in-house sound equipment with a wireless microphone, up-lighting for the dance floor, and access to a decor closet stocked with lanterns, candles, and easels. Couples can choose from traveling, stationary, or simultaneous bar service, moving between the estate's upstairs and downstairs levels to suit their event flow. Twenty-two on-site cottages give couples and their guests a place to stay for the wedding weekend, with some packages including a complimentary one-night cottage stay for newlyweds. The venue keeps a preferred vendor list but also welcomes couples' own vendors, and does not require a minimum guest count.

  TWO-STORY CLIMATE CONTROLLED BARN The 4,000-square-foot Dove Hollow Estate barn is framed with grey and white barn doors. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. The metal tolix chairs at Dove Hollow will only be used for reception. PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE WITH BATHROOM Dove Hollow brides have their own place upstairs with a private bathroom, designed to make getting ready with your besties a calm experience. The suite features cosmetic stations, a full-length mirror, and lounge furniture, including a classic emerald green tufted sofa that is ideal for “getting ready” shots! GROOMS LOUNGE Grooms can unwind and prepare for the big day in their own lounge at Dove Hollow Estate, which is also located upstairs. Comfortable furniture, a full length mirror, and a vanity mirror provide a private spot for the groom and his groomsmen to unwind before the big day.

  The Richardson Woman's Club is a beautiful rural house in the center of Richardson. It was founded in 1903. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space. With a capacity of 102 people, the Clubhouse is the more intimate of the two venues on the property. Additionally, RWC has three outside settings to choose from, including a romantic Gazebo and patio, a gorgeous brick Arbor/Pergola, and an endearing wishing well.   The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

  Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024. For weddings and private events, the property offers a range of settings, from Ella Amore's expansive vineyard-view spaces for large gatherings to the more intimate Winemaker's Villa.   Chateau Bellevue is a Victorian-era mansion in downtown Austin, built in 1874 and expanded in 1892 under owner Major Ira Hobart Evans, a Union Army veteran and the youngest Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives. Its stained glass windows and intricate wooden detailing make it one of the last remaining examples of Victorian architecture in the city, and it holds both Texas Historic Landmark (1965) and City of Austin Historic Landmark (1974) status. The venue has been owned and operated by the Austin Woman's Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, since 1929. The mansion offers a sequence of spaces for weddings and private events, from the Grand Entryway Foyer with its stained glass and hand-carved woodwork to the Grand Ballroom, which seats up to 175 guests beneath hardwood flooring and a raised stage for a band or DJ. Outdoors, the brick Ceremony Courtyard seats up to 165 guests facing its magnolia tree, or up to 150 facing the Chateau itself, with an adjoining terrace suited to cocktail hour.   The Caswell House is a limestone mansion built circa 1899 in downtown Austin, one of three neighboring houses designed by architect A.O. Watson in a mix of Gothic, Chateauesque, and Renaissance styles. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Texas Historic Landmark, the house sits at the corner of 15th Street and West Avenue and is owned and operated by the Austin Junior Forum, a nonprofit whose rental proceeds fund community grants. The two-story house hosts weddings, receptions, luncheons, fundraisers, and recitals across its courtyard, balcony, and indoor spaces.
