The Maritime Hotel
363 W 16th St, New York, NY 10011, USAAs the National Maritime Union's headquarters, the nautically themed structure was originally designed by New Orleans modernist architect Albert Ledner in 1968 to serve as the union's headquarters. In the late 1940s, Ledner worked as an apprentice under the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, where he developed his own playful style. This fanciful approach to modernism was long dismissed by design purists, but The Maritime is now considered to be part of a wave of modernist architecture that is being viewed in a completely different light than it was previously. It had been open since 2003 but had undergone a transformation to better reflect its enviable location in the heart of Manhattan's fashion, art, food and business districts as well as the city's technology and creative industries. It was the first luxury hotel in the neighborhood, distinguished by its signature porthole windows, white-tiled exterior, and elevated outdoor terraces overlooking Ninth Avenue. As the modern, cool heart of Manhattan's Meatpacking District/West Chelsea neighborhood, the Maritime Hotel has maintained its position.

Il Buco
47 Bond St, New York, NY 10012, USA- Spaces for 70 Guests
Enjoy a meal with us in New York City, Amagansett, or Ibiza, and browse through our Mediterranean pantry and home collection. When il Buco first opened its doors in 1994 as a rustic antique store on NoHo's cobblestoned Bond Street, the restaurant quickly rose to become one of the city's most beloved destinations. Donna Lennard and her then-partner, Italian-born restaurateur Alberto Avalle, were pioneers on Bond Street when they invited their antique customers to join them for their midday "pranzo" before obtaining a wine and beer license and developing an eclectic Mediterranean menu that was equal parts Italian, Spanish, and invention, and dedicated to sourcing the finest prime ingredients both locally and in Avalle's home country of Italy. The culinary philosophy of il Buco is firmly rooted in the Italian tradition of seasonality and the integrity of all of the ingredients used in the restaurant. Our cuisine is influenced by both the motherland of Italy and the Iberian Peninsula. We spend a significant amount of time sourcing ingredients and take great pleasure in working with our producers to ensure that you receive the highest quality product possible. What we can't find locally, we source in Italy through a network of family and friends that we've built up over the course of a lifetime of traveling.

It is driven by an innate inclination for hospitality and a core principle that one can enjoy flawlessly executed cocktails and delicious, elevated food in a beautiful space. Twelve years later, this same vision remains intact. In addition to a world class bar program whose acceptance is coveted by aspiring bartenders around the globe, Employees Only has gained a voracious and loyal following for the mysterious, convivial and hospitable ambiance—as well as the esteemed New American fare, distinguished by subtle Eastern European touches that reflect executive chef Julia Jaksic’s Croatian heritage. The bar has created industry classics out of its pioneering drink list, including their famed twist on the Manhattan, the seasonally adapted Ginger Smash, the Amelia, and various others. Meanwhile, the kitchen continues to serve dedicated favorites like its Hand Cut Steak Tartare, Bone Marrow Poppers, Skate Paprikás and satisfying late night foods. The restaurant reflects an old world vibe through its art deco accents like overhead luggage racks and backlit paintings and is curiously tucked behind a fortune teller’s lair. Upon arrival past this mysterious foyer, guests revel around a sensual curving bar and throughout an alluring back dining room. Employees Only has been honored with Spirited Awards for “Best American Bar Team,” “World’s Best Cocktail Bar” and “World’s Best Drinks Selection” by Tales of the Cocktail, as well as the #4 spot on Drinks International’s “World’s 50 Best Bars” list in 2015. The Merchant's House Museum
29 E 4th St, New York, NY 10003, USA- Spaces for 100-150 Guests
- 1 Museum
- 1 Landmark
The Merchant's House Museum is New York City's only family home to survive intact — inside and out — from the 19th century. Built in 1832 in the late-Federal and Greek Revival style, the Manhattan rowhouse carries triple landmark designation at the federal, state, and city levels, including National Historic Landmark status since 1966. It was the first building designated under New York City's 1965 Landmarks Preservation Law and remains one of only six residential interior landmarks in the city. The Tredwell family occupied the residence from 1835 until 1933, and more than 3,000 of their original belongings remain in place. The museum is also recognized as Manhattan's only documented site of the Underground Railroad open to the public. For private events, the venue accommodates up to 30 guests for intimate wedding ceremonies, garden elopements, and engagement photography sessions. The 19th-century rear garden serves as the primary ceremony setting; the Greek Revival double parlor and 1850s kitchen provide indoor alternatives when weather requires.

Freemans
Freeman Alley, New York, NY 10002, USA- Spaces for 12-200 Guests
- 6 Restaurants
We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Our largest single private room is the Red Room on the second floor. In an attractive 2nd floor dining room, seats 20-30 guests for a sit-down lunch or supper, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail reception. Guests can book the Red Room, Drawing Room, and Blue Room for large-scale gatherings. For a sit-down lunch or dinner, all three rooms can seat 30-80 people, or up to 100 people for a cocktail reception. Our second-floor private cocktail bar can accommodate groups of up to 25 people. We can seat 140 guests for a seated dinner or up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception with a full buyout. Reach out today to start planning your private dining experience!
