    Seabrook Town Hall

24 Front St, Copalis Crossing, WA 98571, USA
    • Spaces for 80-200 Guests
    • 1 Event Space

Wide plank wood floors, high ceilings, and soft neutral walls set the tone inside Seabrook Town Hall, where a New England-inspired exterior gives way to a bright, vaulted interior built for gatherings that feel intentional and welcoming. The open floor plan carries that clarity through into how the room works for an event: long banquet tables and seated dinners on one night, a cocktail reception with room for presentations the next, all inside a space that seats up to 80 guests or holds 120 standing. Large doors open onto adjacent outdoor areas, so a toast or cocktail hour can move outside as easily as it stays in, and the venue sits close enough to Seabrook's parks and walking paths that guests are only steps from more of the town once the doors close. The eight-hour rental includes chiavari chairs, event tables, white or black table linens, and full table settings, with setup, breakdown, and on-site support handled by the venue's team. Couples can add a ceremony package with white folding garden chairs and a champagne or Northwest cider toast for arriving guests.

For events, the inn offers six indoor and outdoor spaces suited to gatherings of many sizes and styles. The Ballroom, part of the newer addition, features 18-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a multimedia wall with a built-in sound system, and it opens directly onto the Courtyard for combined indoor-outdoor celebrations. The Courtyard itself is a manicured lawn and garden framed by a white trellis arch, pergola, and stone pathway, and can be tented for an evening affair. The open-air Rooftop Lounge and adjoining private rooftop deck look out over the San Juan Islands, downtown Anacortes, Guemes Channel, Mt. Baker, Fidalgo Bay, and the Cap Sante Marina, with especially notable summer sunsets; the deck operates seasonally and hosts groups of up to 50. A dedicated conference room, with comfortable seating and modern AV capabilities, rounds out the offering for board meetings and corporate planning sessions. Beyond events, guests can unwind at the on-site Apothecary Spa, which includes a eucalyptus steam room, or gather at the hotel's bistro, bar, and cafe. On Smokey Point Boulevard just off I-5 in Arlington, Washington, the Stilly Valley Center's main building was raised in the early 1970s by local seniors, volunteers, and donated labor after North Snohomish County residents organized the center in 1970 on a former motel site. That community-built hall now anchors the center's rental program, hosting wedding receptions, banquet dinners, anniversaries, and family reunions in the evenings and on weekends. The Main Hall is the center's largest rental space, holding up to 250 guests for dining and events when its side rooms are included, making it suited to receptions and banquets that call for a single large gathering space. Smaller rooms are also available for more intimate meetings and gatherings. A certificate of liability insurance is required for all rentals, and a banquet permit is needed for any event serving alcohol.

Lakewold Gardens is a nonprofit public garden on the shores of Gravelly Lake in Lakewood, Washington, not a purpose-built banquet hall. The 10-acre estate dates to the early 20th century, and its design took shape over decades under Corydon and Eulalie Wagner, who owned the property from 1938 and brought in landscape architect Thomas Church, who returned regularly after his first Pacific Northwest visit in 1958 to refine the grounds. In 1987, Eulalie Wagner donated the estate to a new nonprofit, and Lakewold opened to the public as a garden in 1989. That history shapes how events work here. Rather than booking back-to-back weddings, Lakewold reserves a limited number each year, giving couples exclusive use of the Wagner House and surrounding gardens instead of a single interior room. Ceremonies and receptions can host up to 150 guests among century-old trees and garden rooms shaped across nearly a century of horticultural stewardship, while smaller micro-weddings and elopements are available for couples who want a quieter version of the same setting, including the Tea House gazebo and the wisteria-covered veranda. The same Wagner House rooms — an Upper Conference Room, Living Room/Dining Room, Veranda, and Atrium — are also available to rent for birthday parties, showers, corporate retreats, and other private gatherings, each with a view out into the garden.
