Nestled along the world-renowned Battenkill River in Shushan, New York, The Georgi Park and Museum sits on nine acres of lush lawns and gorgeous gardens just west of the Vermont border. The Battenkill wraps around the property on nearly all sides, creating a naturally serene setting framed by a row of 60-plus-year-old hydrangea trees and a canopy of oak, chestnut, apple, and basswood. Originally bequeathed to the Town of Salem in 1989 by Jessie Georgi, the property combines a riverside community park with a museum housing Italian panel paintings and a mineral collection. The grounds are available for weddings, memorial gatherings, family celebrations, and performances from May through November.
