The Prado is a National Historic Landmark in Balboa Park. After a comprehensive renovation and modernization, The Prado reopened in 2000. The building's architecture, artwork, sculptures, alcoves, gardens, and fountains were all restored during the three-year makeover. The venue's authenticity is enhanced by over two dozen original, hand-painted wooden stencil designs on doors, as well as the elaborate hand stenciled ceilings and beams. The "Women of Tehuantepec" sculpture by Donal Hord is still on display in the renovated central courtyard's fountain. This 94-acre home is located on the Palos Verdes bluffs, which provide breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. You can view the vineyard, the Pacific Ocean, and even Catalina Island in the distance from practically everywhere in the event garden. During the day, you and your guests will eat, drink, and dance the hours away as the sun sets in a stunning display of color over the Pacific. The stars appear even brighter and more numerous after dark from this secluded vantage point, making for an unforgettable night sky experience. Catalina View Gardens is a difficult site to conceive of in California for an outdoor event. Catalina View Wines are also available for purchase to serve at your event or simply to enjoy on your own. The location is available for daily hire at a cost of $12,000 per day. A $2,000 refundable deposit is required in addition to the venue charge for damages, over-standard cleaning, and entertainment compliance. The venue charge is deducted from the deposit. All events must stop no later than 9:30 p.m., according to the stipulations of our permission. This means the music will be turned off, food and beverages will no longer be served, and visitors will begin to go. We can only allow DJs that are on our approved DJs list because of the noise limits. We have strict guidelines for sound levels at our events, and all of the approved DJs have adhered to these guidelines while still keeping the dance floor crowded throughout the night.

Take advantage of the full Casa Bella estate while you're in Kenwood or the Sonoma Valley. During your visit to Wine Country, the historic landmark can accommodate your large group. Nearly two acres are available for wandering and relaxing outside, along with a fire pit, bocce court, stunning stone sundeck with hot tub, and built-in gas barbecue. Two of the rooms' usable area is increased by balconies, and the group members have access to more than simply bed-only rooms thanks to a wraparound porch, a large lobby, and a living room. We are happy to provide each party with a free wine tasting passport so you can experience the best of Sonoma Valley. Wineries like Benziger, Château St. Jean, and Cline Winery are among the wonderful options. The tasting passport provides free or discounted samples. The winery will determine the precise complimentary offer. Additionally, there are some limitations on party size, so please make arrangements in advance and get in touch with us for more information. The house has a wraparound balcony and patio, a warm, comfortable living room with a wood burning stove, and a formal dining room with space for up to 14 people. Etude was founded on the philosophy that winemaking begins in the vineyard long before the harvest and that superior grape growing diminishes the need for intervention by the winemaker, resulting in wine that is grown, not made. This remains their approach today as they continue to build the Etude legacy. Etude was established 1982, when founding winemaker Tony Soter set his sights on the cool-climate Carneros region in the pursuit of producing world-class Pinot Noir. As a winemaker, Tony always had a fascination with Pinot Noir. He was quoted as saying "Pinot Noir is the most appropriate vehicle with which to study wine growing, precisely because of its demanding nature but also because of its delicacy and transparency. Make no mistake it is a humbling pursuit, but when it’s right, Pinot Noir is a glorious and moving thing. It is in the pursuit of that experience that we all work.” In 2000, Grace Benoist Ranch was developed – the culmination of an eighteen-year journey in finding the most suitable terroir for their Estate vineyards. On the ranch are seven Chardonnay clones, nine Heirloom Pinot Noir clones, and eight additional Pinot clones, all divided into 24 individual vineyard blocks, each with its own soil type, rootstock, grape variety and clonal type. These individual vineyard blocks average only 8 acres in size. The spacing is dense to ensure low per vine yields of fully concentrated fruit. Pinot Noir offers intricate flavor profiles, many of which are unique to its growing region. Beyond Carneros, Etude sources fruit from the Central Coast region of California, Oregon, and even New Zealand. This diversity offers their guests the opportunity to see the world though the lens of Pinot Noir. The flavors, aromas, and textures are a direct impact of the teroirs on which the grapes are grown. At Etude, they believe wines are expressive of the place in which they are grown. With this belief comes a commitment to a holistic wine-growing approach -- nurturing the soil, respecting the native ecosystems, and always working to reduce the environmental impact. They are mindful of their role as stewards of the land and adhere strictly to sustainable agriculture practices that enable them to farm in concert with the surrounding environment.
