Founded in 1884, the Denver Athletic Club is one of the oldest and largest private city clubs in the United States, located at 1325 Glenarm Place in the heart of downtown Denver. The club has called its current corner address at 14th and Glenarm home since 1890, with a storied history of growth, renovation, and recognition — including a Harper's Weekly nod in 1898 as "the first substantial institution of an athletic nature" in the region. Today it holds Platinum Clubs of America certification and serves more than 2,000 members. The club offers over 25,000 square feet of event space across more than nine distinct venues, accommodating gatherings from intimate board meetings of 10 to rooftop celebrations and grand ballroom events of up to 400 guests. The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms sits on a 90-acre property in the Plum Creek Valley of Larkspur, Colorado, approximately 35 minutes south of Denver. The land traces its roots to the early 1920s as a working dairy farm, and the property's historic red dairy barn — meticulously restored — remains a defining feature of the grounds. The venue began welcoming events in 2011 and offers guests access to a tranquil pond, lush pastures, manicured gardens, and sweeping Rocky Mountain views throughout the property. Multiple hand-crafted indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodate gatherings of varying sizes, from intimate dinners in the Wine Room (up to 40 seated) to large-scale celebrations in the Pavilion (up to 1,600 seated). The Carriage House Ballroom features exposed red brick, white pine walls, chandeliers, and custom wall sconces, while Lola's Loft occupies the upper level of the 1920s barn with cathedral windows and a hand-crafted turret entrance. Inspired by a solo 999 bicycle ride around the world, Jacob Lemanski felt the desire to share what he had learned expressed through the Ant Life art, starting with creating the worlds largest psychedelic ant farms. Described as beautiful, profound, and a full body-mind experience, guests enjoy a space to connect with each other and immerse themselves in the world of art. As the seasons change, the art changes with some of the pieces filled with live ants who dig tunnels, changing the landscape as they go. Clock Tower Events is under new management & located in the heart of downtown Denver! Prior to 1950, the Daniels & Fisher Department store was the ‘crown jewel’ of the Denver skyline. Built in 1911, the D&F Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi, at a height of 393 feet. In the 1960’s after financial ruin the building was set to be demolished. In the early 1970’s, Denver was able to save the actual clock tower from being destroyed. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it lights up the Denver skyline and remains a defining building for downtown. Now, the top (5) floors of this beloved structure are available for smaller, private events through Clock Tower Events.
