Surrounded by fine homes, in the shadow of skyscrapers, is a small oasis….the delightful village of Vinings. At its heart are two historic gems, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion. Wrapped in nineteenth-century charm, they provide the perfect setting for today’s weddings and special corporate or private events. The Historic Pace House was built from the remains of the 17-room antebellum home of Vinings founder Hardy Pace. The house served as General Sherman’s temporary headquarters where he planned the siege of Atlanta. After the Civil War, Hardy’s son, Solomon Pace, returned home to find the family home in ruins. Sometime around 1870, Solomon rebuilt the home – albeit more modestly- from doors, windows and remnants of several small cabins that survived the fire of the main house. Today The Pace House consists of a parlor, a dining room, and a bridal suite which can be used as a private retreat for the bride and her attendants or event host. This modest frame house has a sense of history so tangible that you feel it from the moment you enter. Adjacent to The Pace House, The Old Pavilion, itself a Vinings landmark, was a place where old Atlanta Society entertained and danced the night away during the late 1800s and until the early 1900s. Today guests can use this historic property to make history for themselves. With a warm, rustic ambiance, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion feature a versatile reception area that is perfect for any occasion. Both buildings are connected to a spacious open deck area which can be a beautiful site for a ceremony and may also be transformed into your dance floor or cocktail area for your event. The Pace House and The Old Pavilion are operated by The Vinings Historic Preservation Society, a non-profit organization. All profit from event rentals goes towards the Society’s mission of maintaining and preserving these properties, along with The Yarbrough House, the Society’s headquarters across the street. As of May 2009, the Pace House has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Kacey and Hillery Cecil, Marietta residents, own The Foxglove and its in-house florist, 131 LeFleur. The Foxglove hosts private parties, gatherings, weddings, and receptions and was born out of a desire to see a magnificent old building repaired and revitalized while adding something new and interesting to the square. We've done everything we can to maintain faithful to the building's character and history, including keeping the original brickwork, steel-framed factory windows, and industrial overhead beams. The Foxglove and 131 LeFleur, located at 54 Atlanta Street, are conveniently placed walking distance from the historic Marietta Square. Champagne toasts in the garden courtyard, canapés under the sweeping draperies, and dancing under the original steel beams overhead. The Foxglove oozes the historical ambiance inherent to its Marietta Square setting, having been thoughtfully built with respect for the building's unique charm. The details have an exquisite, slightly industrial sense to them. Plenty of Accommodations The Foxglove can accommodate corporate events, private parties, and gatherings of up to 350 people, but because of our flexible space, we can also accommodate smaller gatherings. Enterprise Mill Events is a full-service event venue housed within the historic Enterprise Mill complex on Greene Street in Augusta, Georgia. The 19th-century mill building's original brick walls, exposed timber, and high ceilings give the space a distinctive character that blends industrial heritage with Southern warmth. The main banquet hall spans 2,500 square feet and seats up to 180 guests for plated dinners or accommodates nearly 250 for cocktail-style receptions. For larger gatherings, the adjacent outdoor courtyard — fully tentable — can host up to 750 guests, making the venue one of Augusta's more flexible options for events of any scale. A smaller café room rounds out the footprint, suited for groups up to 75 and available for business meetings, rehearsal dinners, or intimate celebrations. Enterprise Mill Events operates an in-house culinary team led by Havird Usry, a graduate of Helm's Culinary Institute, who emphasizes fresh Southern cuisine with a farm-to-table approach. Event planning and design services, including custom cakes and florals, are available through Heather Bowen. Boat rides on the Augusta Canal can be arranged as an additional guest experience.

In addition to having stunning windows with a view of picturesque Canton Street, our traditional Trattoria dining room, which can accommodate parties of 10-50 people, is available for half- or full-buyouts. It is possible to accommodate up to 6 people in the tiny wine room at Osteria. Our Sommelier Daniel welcomes you to join him for informal wine tastings or a formal wine supper with matched wines. Chef Eric will be pleased to put together a tasting menu depending on your preferences and requirements. Dinner is available to those who wish to take use of the area by ordering from the extensive dinner menu. Please keep in mind that our working wine room will stay at cellar temperature during your visit and may be accessible by our service crew. Osteria Alcove is a small restaurant in the heart of Osteria Alcove. Located off the dining room, our informal Osteria dining room alcove may accommodate up to 12 people in a semi-private space that is divided from the main dining room by a light curtain. Purchase of the entire company Additionally, Osteria Mattone may be reserved for daytime and evening functions with a full restaurant buyout. A total of 80 guests may be seated inside, with an additional 30 people able to be accommodated on our outside patio.

In recent history, the property was home to the Sautee Nacoochee Vineyard, which was one of the first wineries in north Georgia. Tourists came from all over the country to sample the wines and learn more about the 1.5-acre vineyard. They also enjoyed live music in the amphitheater, as well as the breathtaking views and refreshing breezes provided by the mountains. The grape vines are still there, and we are in the process of reopening this once highly sought-after destination. For us, the Estate is much more than a piece of real estate; it is a vacation destination. Alegre Farm is a center for agriculturally-based education, agritourism, and economic development as well as a beautiful place to gather for special moments like weddings, birthday parties, vow renewals, and corporate or community events. Purchased in 2004 by Juan and Pilar Quintero the farm was meant to give their three boys more space while fostering an appreciation for organic, healthy living. The farm serves the local community as well as surrounding counties by providing education and hands-on experience for children and adults through field trips, camps, and workshops. The goal is to not only enhance the essential process of farming but also to educate on the origins of what goes on our plates. Alegre farm offers two spacious outdoor pavilions as well as a large banquet hall to serve the community. Visitors can book farm-themed birthday parties, corporate or private events, and weddings at the farm.

Tiger Mountain Vineyards is a 60-acre estate vineyard nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Rabun County, Georgia, where high-altitude cool-climate conditions support the production of estate-grown, European-style wines. The Avondale Transit Station is about four minutes away, providing easy access to downtown Atlanta. & capacity This multifunctional wedding brewery allows couples to use the interior, outdoor, or both spaces. Each couple can invite up to 250 guests to their wedding when using both the Taproom and The Grove patios. The Taproom alone can hold 150 guests. The area is spacious, with high ceilings and lots of windows. The wood elements and Edison lighting make the space feel warm and inviting. Wooden barrels add to the rustic, industrial feel. WOKC is built with your occasion in mind for Private Events with 15 to 500 people. White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails will design a gorgeous solution for your next dinner party, from state-of-the-art sound and A/V to small and big private dining areas. Chapter & Verse Chapter and Verse can be used as two independent rooms or can be combined to accommodate up to 80 people. A standing cocktail reception for 30-40 people can be held in Chapter alone. Verse can also be used on its own for a 15-30 person seated dinner and a 30-40 person standing reception. For more personalized service, Verse has a mini bar installed within the room. For presentations, both Chapter and Verse offer flat screen TVs with surround sound and a hand held or cordless microphone. Barrel Bar This cocktail reception space can accommodate up to 200 people. The wide marble top bar makes buying a much-needed cocktail quick and easy, making it a fantastic location to congregate and unwind after work. Large windows overlook Peachtree and Baker Streets, and the reception space offers direct access to the patio and terrace.
