501 Union has become a hub for the community to connect, celebrate, educate, and learn. It is located in five diverse Brooklyn neighborhoods: Gowanus, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boreum Hill, and Park Slope. We welcome you to make our space fully yours for the evening, whether you're throwing a party, a conference, or a popup market. The structure, which dates from 1916, was previously a classic vehicle restoration shop. In 2013, it was converted into a private events facility, and it currently serves as a stunning backdrop for weddings, business gatherings, and photoshoots. Guests can enjoy three separate locations within the venue, paired with our great service: a covered atrium, an elegant cocktail bar, and a light-filled reception hall. Modo chandeliers by Jason Miller, customized Flavor Paper wallpaper, and a vaulted skylight that runs the length of the main gathering space are all locally sourced design features that embody the best of old and new Brooklyn: industrial elegance with a touch of modern luxury.

Ideal Glass Studios is an artist-run film & TV production studio, founded in 2004 by native New Yorker, actor, and artist, Willard Morgan. The original East Village space, was transformed from a 1950’s glazier’s workshop into an independent gallery space and art collective. It was run by a small team of creatives dedicated to fostering a collaborative creative community, and featured rotating mural walls, art exhibitions, film screenings and multidisciplinary performances. In 2017, Morgan opened The Atrium and The Mansion in NYC’s West Village. Here, high-profile film, TV, music, fashion, and art vanguards gather regularly to collaborate. The original space’s DIY vibe lives on in its caring and eccentric team, encouraging creators to present their ideas clearly and express their vision freely. The Norwalk Art Space is an exciting new museum and hub for the arts. Our mission is to promote under-represented local artists, offer free art classes to under-served students and provide the public with a welcoming space to enjoy art and music. The Norwalk Art Space at ADK House welcomes private events. We offer a contemporary, airy, and artistic new event space, newly renovated in 2020/21, and conveniently located off I-95 in Norwalk. Featuring a 2,200sf gallery, versatile loft space, separate 450sf dining area, and outdoor patio, ADK House offers many flexible options for your next special event. Exclusive catering at ADK House is provided by Marcia Selden Catering (www.marciaselden.com). We can accommodate approximately 120 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 220 guests for a cocktail-style event. The size of the main interior event rooms is as follows: Main Gallery 40’ x 58' (2,200sf), Loft 19’ x 10', Foyer 21’ x 10', Cafe Dining Area 33' x 14' (450sf). The front patio - adjacent to outdoor Sculpture Garden - is approximately 60’ x 22’ (not including the sidewalk) and may be used during any event, with or without tenting.
