    • Spaces for 150 Guests
    • 1 Event Space

The Schram Memorial Chapel, named after famed Navy Captain Richard A. Schram and originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II, served as a place of worship for thousands of servicemen and women passing through this military installation. The Village of Glenview and Kimball Hill Builders moved this historic non-denominational chapel from its original position after the Naval Air Station closed. The Schram Memorial Chapel is now held by the Glenview Park District and can be rented by groups, individuals, and organizations. Its rich history and impressive religious construction make it a very unique location for important milestones and memorable occasions. Both the rehearsal and the ceremony will be staffed by a caretaker. The caretaker is in charge of making sure the building is available to the renter during the agreed-upon rental hours, as well as setting the temperature and audio equipment. They are unable to direct your event, but are delighted to answer questions and make recommendations. The rehearsal can take place on any day (a week before, the night before, etc.) as long as the required day and time are available. The rehearsal will last one and a half hours. In addition to the ceremony rental, this time must be paid for. Typically, five flower stands, two altar shelves, 20 pews, and two podiums are all decorated. Except for tape on an aisle runner, we do not allow the use of nails, glue, or tape. Ribbon, tulle, or rubber bands can be used to connect pew decorations. Decorations are usually put up approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the wedding. Renters and their service providers have access to the building during the agreed rental term.

Redfield Estate provides the perfect backdrop for your outdoor ceremony, reception, or intimate events inside the house, while the enchanting house has original leaded glass windows, a fireplace, and charming dressing rooms to prepare for your day. Your wedding album will be full of amazing images as you dine and dance on our stunning 30′ x 60′ outdoor-covered, stone pavilion. Strings of bistro lights and lamp-lit tranquil walks provide evening lighting. Redfield Estate offers a refreshing alternative from the conventional conference settings, with rooms ideal for both big group sessions and small breakout groups. Our venue will leave a lasting impression on private business social occasions. "Windy Pines," now known as The Redfield Estate, was built by Bertha Redfield and her second husband, Paul Petersen in 1929. The architect’s arrangement of the west wing, with its fireplace and balcony at an unusual angle to the remainder of the house, was influenced by the Prairie style of architecture. Overall, the effect is reminiscent of a country house in northern Europe. It is particularly lovely due to its variation of line, leaded glass windows, stone, stucco, and slate materials. It had a formal rose garden on one side of the home and a "natural" environment intended to attract wildlife on the other, in addition to its numerous distinctive design features. Even now, deer and other wild creatures can be seen through the windows.

The venue offers two distinct spaces for weddings, fundraisers, corporate functions, concerts, and celebrations of life. Lake Shore Country Club

    Chicago, IL, USA

Lake Shore is a family-oriented private club on the shores of Lake Michigan that was founded in 1908. For more than a century, the Club has been a home away from home for generations of families and friends in Chicago and the North Shore. The Club, which is located on 127 acres in Glencoe, Illinois, is a haven for outdoor sports, leisure, and camaraderie about 25 miles north of Chicago. In addition to formal and informal dining and a bustling social schedule, Lake Shore has a championship 18-hole golf course, a full racquets program, and a waterfront swimming complex. Lake Shore's historic Howard Van Doren Shaw-designed Clubhouse, perched above a bluff, provides panoramic views of the lake and a lovely backdrop for in-season activities and private Member functions. Glencoe was a rural community, Sheridan Road was a dirt road, and the 127 acres where the Club now stands was primarily muddy scrubland known as Beck's Farm when the Club was created. Frederick Law Olmsted, widely regarded as the pioneer of American landscape architecture, and his sons, Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. and John Charles Olmsted, were engaged in 1909 to assist with the development of the site. In the same year, Howard Van Doren Shaw, another prominent Chicago architect, won a national architectural competition to design and build a clubhouse overlooking Lake Michigan. His vision of architecture that blended seamlessly into the landscape was identical to Olmsted's. The spirit of Lake Shore has remained the same for generations of families, many of whom are descendants or members of the original founding families, despite the fact that the Club's facilities and activities of interest have changed over the past century.

    • Spaces for 26-80 Guests
    • 3 Restaurants

Mia Francesca is an Italian trattoria in Chicago's Lake View neighborhood, where the concept was born in 1992 when chef Scott Harris opened the original location with a vision for bold, rustic cooking rooted in the cuisine of Rome and the surrounding regions of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. The restaurant was among the first in Chicago to offer a casually sophisticated trattoria atmosphere — simple, flavorful food served with genuine warmth at fair prices. The setting reflects that philosophy throughout: a convivial dining room that has long been a Lake View staple, alongside a collection of private and semi-private spaces suited to gatherings of different sizes. The Coach House, tucked behind the main restaurant, seats up to 30 guests in a more intimate setting. Upstairs, the Milan Ovest and Milan Est rooms can host parties of 50 and 26 respectively, with the option to combine them for larger groups. Events accommodate service in family-style, plated, or appetizer reception formats — well suited to rehearsal dinners, milestone celebrations, and corporate gatherings alike.
