New Orleans is a popular wedding destination with a romantic ambiance that wins couples over. The iconic French Quarter, with its cast iron balconies and gas lantern-lit streets, is just one of many spots that make The Big Easy a picturesque city for a wedding ceremony and reception. Moreover, rich customs like the Second Line Parade and Dance Krewes create memorable experiences that transcend more classic wedding activities like a first dance or cake cutting.
New Orleans is also home to some of the most unique and stunning wedding venues in the country. Traditionalists can still find the ultimate luxury venue at places like Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans, with its 34th-floor observation deck boasting dramatic city views, or The Windsor Court, with its large collection of European art and antiques. Creative couples will love the historic Civic Theatre New Orleans, a restored state-of-the-art concert venue, with opportunities for a dramatic reveal on the Civic’s stage. For those looking for a quintessential New Orleans wedding experience, consider Margaret Place, a historic Greek Revival mansion with a classic New Orleans courtyard.

Fleur de Lis Event Center
1645 N Causeway Blvd, Mandeville, LA 70471, USA- 1 Wedding Album
- Spaces for 100-500 Guests
- 2 Ballrooms
- 3 Event Spaces
Fleur de Lis Event Center is an all-inclusive wedding and event venue in Mandeville, Louisiana, on the Northshore about 35 minutes from New Orleans. Housed in a movie theater transformed over three years, the space was designed to evoke a New Orleans spring evening — stucco walls, brick columns, gas lanterns, and signature star-lit ceilings. Each ballroom opens onto its own private courtyard with brick walls, greenery, and a permanent wrought-iron ceremony dome and chandelier. Three distinct spaces: the Pontchartrain Ballroom for approximately 100 to 500 guests, with a functional balcony seating nearly 100 and an illuminated architectural cake backdrop; the Jazz Ballroom for approximately 50 to 300, with two indoor fountains, a brick-top bar, and a dedicated picture room; and the Private Restaurant for up to approximately 100, ideal for rehearsal dinners, showers, and smaller celebrations. No hard guest minimum. Each space has its own entrance, courtyard, restrooms, bar, and staff, so two events run simultaneously with no sound transfer. Every ballroom wedding includes 18 hand-passed hors d'oeuvres, a full Louisiana-style buffet, and staffed action stations — served from the moment guests enter the reception rather than waiting for a buffet announcement. Packages include the House Plus Wine open bar for the full three-hour reception, tables, chairs, linens, china, décor, custom lighting, setup and breakdown, cake cutting and service, and comprehensive on-site wedding coordination with a lead bridal coordinator and bridal assistant who work with you throughout planning — not a stranger on your wedding day. Also included is the Fairytale Dinner, a private meal for the newlyweds before their grand entrance. Indoor and outdoor ceremonies are available, and every outdoor ceremony has an attractive indoor backup in your own ballroom at no additional charge. Optional add-ons include an in-house DJ, officiant, photo booths, and ceremony services. Free on-site parking.

St. James Cheese Company - Warehouse District
641 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70130, USA- 1 Wedding Album
St. James Cheese Company is the perfect setting for private wine and cheese tastings, happy hours, rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, weddings, and more. Cheese, cheese, charcuterie, and more cheese, please. Sandwiches, salads, and even more cheese are all on the menu. Mission The purpose of our business is to present our clients with a precisely picked and unexpectedly broad range of wonderfully mature cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet food products. Our menu has been carefully crafted to include sandwiches, salads, and cheese-centric dishes that are both contemporary and European in style, in order to appeal to a wide range of food enthusiasts. What it Is and How it Works We know people who know people who know people who know people who know people. The best method to obtain the farmhouse cheeses we are wild about is to identify the people who love creating them as much as we do about selling them. We found this out a long time ago and have been using it ever since. We've established an international network of cheese makers and affineurs who supply us with the artisan and farmhouse cheeses that are not available in other shops in the United States. What to Expect When You Arrive We operate on the premise that cheese should be enjoyable, and we strive to make each and every visit to our shop unique and memorable. There are areas for the cheese novice, the rind smelling expert, and the curd curious to explore. These are the folks who work for us. St James cheesemongers and guests are urged to sample every cheese available on a daily basis in order to guarantee that each cheese is served at its best.
