The Marine Park Golf Course is an 18-hole Championship Course that is open to the public all year. It is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Our largest single private room is the Red Room on the second floor. In an attractive 2nd floor dining room, seats 20-30 guests for a sit-down lunch or supper, or up to 40 guests for a cocktail reception. Wolf Oak Acres is a barn wedding and event venue set on more than 200 acres of countryside along the Cowasselon Creek in Oneida, New York. The property spans meadows, ponds, gorges, woods, and gardens, offering a private, scenic backdrop for ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, and celebrations of many kinds. At its center is an 8,000-square-foot, climate-controlled barn that is fully handicap accessible, with an elevator, bridal and groom dressing rooms, a catering prep kitchen, and a 170-foot wraparound deck for cocktail hour. The venue seats up to 240 guests with banquet, bistro, and buffet tables and mahogany Chiavari chairs, and holds its own New York State liquor license. Full-day rentals include WiFi, a complimentary shuttle bus, and on-site parking for 300, with outdoor ceremony sites across the grounds. The Antique Boat Museum occupies a 4.5-acre waterfront campus in Clayton, New York, along the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands region. Established in the 1960s and chartered under its current name in 1990, the museum is a nationally recognized institution dedicated to preserving North American maritime heritage. The campus encompasses ten exhibition buildings with 29,000 square feet of exhibits, 1,900 feet of dockage, and 1,300 feet of river shoreline. For private events, the museum offers a range of waterfront spaces — from open-sided porches overlooking the river to a large 80-by-40-foot tent and a fully covered yacht house featuring the in-water antique boat fleet. Event spaces accommodate groups of up to 60 guests, and the riverside setting makes weddings the museum's most popular rental type. The Bayside Historical Society makes its home in The Castle, a Gothic Revival landmark building completed in 1887 as the Officers' Club for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens. Designated a New York City landmark in 1974 and listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places in 1986, the building has served as the Society's base of operations since 1984 following a major restoration. The Castle is available for private site rentals including weddings, celebrations, and reunions, accommodating up to 125 guests. The Stockade Inn is a boutique hotel and event venue housed in a landmark building that dates to 1814 in Schenectady's Stockade Historic District, one of the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhoods in the United States. Originally constructed as the Mohawk Bank, the structure survived the devastating fire of 1819 that consumed much of the surrounding area. Over the following two centuries it served as a private residence, an educational facility, and — for nearly a century — The Mohawk Club, a prestigious social establishment that counted more than 600 members drawn from the national business community at its peak. Acquired by Urban Initiatives Group in 2020, the property has been restored to blend its original historic character with modern amenities. The inn sits just steps from the Mohawk River.
