After years of serving as a private property, the transfer to a wedding venue in 2018 seemed logical. While your guests chat on the first floor and the gentlemen play pool in our basement groom's suite, the Manor House 2nd floor rooms provide a wide and lovely backdrop for your morning hair and makeup as a bridal suite. Our famed Georgian Mansion is nestled in over 121 acres of lawn and forest, close to Warrenton and only an hour drive from Washington, DC, with restored period features and illustrious past and charm. Great Marsh Estate's Manor House is your very own unique country house for the day, with a luxurious bridal suite and a peaceful groom's lounge. The Shawnee Farms Estate wedding location is located in the center of Luray, Virginia. With its exquisite exterior, this ancient mansion embodies the charm and refinement of old Virginia. Couples will have the grandeur of nature at their fingertips with 150 acres of lush grass and spectacular views of National Park mountains. Shawnee Farms Estate was built as a huge family mansion in the nineteenth century. The guys had to go off to fight a war during its development. The woman who stayed behind finished the house in 1863. For years, the house was a lovely place where people made memories. Many historic antiquities from the Shawnee tribe, as well as hidden items from the conflict, can be found on the land. The mansion was renovated in 2018 to reclaim its original glory from when it was built. It retains its historic charm while still providing modern conveniences for maximum comfort. A completely equipped kitchen, washrooms, and spacious dining areas are now available in the house. Couples can hold their wedding reception in both indoor and outdoor locations. Prince William, Virginia's Bel Air 1740 is a sophisticated, new English garden venue that is located approximately 25 minutes south of Washington, DC in Prince William. Beloved Bel Air is a private 25 acre enclave of spectacular rural beauty nestled in the heart of a bustling urban region with easy access to Uber / taxi service as well as a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and other services. Because of its beautiful rolling fields, elegant lawns, and lovely English gardens, Bel Air 1740 is a beautiful venue for indoor and outdoor receptions, pictures, and ceremonies. It also has a new Wedding Barn for ceremonies and receptions. The 7000 square foot climate controlled wedding barn has a capacity of 150 guests (with a permit, it may accommodate up to 200+ guests). A wheelchair accessible facility on a single level has been constructed. An imposing great hall with 25 foot ceilings and a cutting edge theatrical sound and lighting system are among the many highlights of the barn. The barn is equipped with two large ready rooms, a huge warming kitchen, and a wide covered terrace that can be enclosed with glass panels and heated during the colder months. The nonprofit property doubles as a working horse retirement farm, and its gardens, lawns, and historic rooms are used for weddings, private parties, and community gatherings throughout the year. For ceremonies, couples can choose between the Sheila Macqueen Garden, which accommodates around 125 guests, or the more intimate Rose Garden, which holds about 25. Indoors, the mansion's East Gallery seats up to 75 for a smaller wedding or reception, with a 40-by-100-foot tent pad available on the grounds for larger seated events.
