Let's be clear: I never imagined myself becoming a wedding photographer, much less a company owner! Owning your own business is the furthest thing from stability, predictability, and regularity for a Type A like me! My husband urged me to leave my corporate 9–5 desk job and pursue a passion despite the fact that my background is in advertising. That's how I arrived here today. I initially focused on senior portraits, headshots, and family photos before getting the chance to photograph weddings one day. I had never considered becoming a wedding photographer, so I was taken aback by how much I enjoyed the excitement of the event. I rapidly developed a craving for the thrill that surges through you as you document the most memorable day for two people. Nothing is more rewarding than capturing a wedding day that the bride meticulously planned, where family and friends flew from all over to attend, and where the primary goal was to celebrate love rather than meet deadlines and update social media. I am a die-hard romantic at heart. I NEED THE MUSHY GUSHY STUFF, SO GIVE IT TO ME!! Sappy me sobs during vows and father-daughter dances from behind my camera. Yes, love is amazing, and having the opportunity to visually express that love through my photography is the greatest honor for me.
