Danielle Simone

Danielle Simone is a lifestyle, wedding, and editorial photographer based in various cities around the United States, most notably in Brooklyn, New York, Los Angeles, CA, and Chicago, IL. Danielle's parents are Dutch, but she was born in the United States, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She got Commencement Honors, Dean's Honors, and Departmental Honors from MIAD and Peck School of the Arts for her classical training in photography, painting, and art history. Danielle currently works full-time as a professional photographer through her company Danielle Simone & Co., and she has 6 years of experience as a photography educator, Photoshop instructor, and computer program instructor. She's been photographing weddings since June 2006, and she's been running her photography business alone since June 2008. She's photographed over 700 weddings so far. Hi! Danielle here. I'm a visual artist who photographs, designs, paints, illustrates, and installs. We like to keep things simple in my company; we like genuine love, natural hues, and in-between times. I've been photographing weddings for almost 15 years (13 as a solo photographer!) and began my career as an assistant wedding photographer in a studio. I've shot weddings all over the world, including in Brussels, France, Amsterdam, Egypt, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Argentina, and hopefully more in the future! I photograph weddings with a team of photographers who have individually trained with me for more than 5 years, and my lead photographer roles are exclusively filled by individuals who have trained with me for more than 5 years.
