After spending the past 20 years working in luxury retail, bridal and events, Hannah Soule Powderly felt it was high time to pursue her passion for photography and the creative arts by launching her own company specializing in photography and art: DQYDJP. Hannah saw a niche in the industry for a photographer who has worked both in front of the camera, as well as behind. Her professional career has enabled Hannah to ensure that the service being provided is coming from someone who has an understanding of what it takes to drive a successful business and be sensitive to those unique needs. Hannah has worked with prestigious NYC industry pros such as Bastille Flowers & Events, Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, The Glasshouses Chelsea, Abigail Kirsch Catering, Citibank, Ronald McDonald House, Yemi Kosibah, and the Manhattan Manor. - What venues have you worked at before?
- I have photographed at The Rainbow Room, Cipriani Wall Street & 42nd St, Wolffer Estates Vineyard, 180 Maiden Lane, Intercontinental Barclays, The Glasshouses Chelsea, Tribeca Rooftop and countless others.
- What different event photography packages do you offer?
- I offer every type of event and wedding photography package you can think of, as well as engagement shoots, baby showers, fashion shows and corporate events.
- How would you describe your event photography style?
- I always try to capture the moments within the moments so my clients can look back on their event and have a true editorial carousel.
- How long after my event can I expect to receive my photos?
- Photos are fully edited and delivered within 7 days post event on your own personal website. Additional beauty retouching is available as well as albums and prints which can take up to 3 weeks post event (after client selection.)
- How long have you been a photographer?
- I have been a professional photographer in New York City for the past eleven years, prior to that I was a documentary filmmaker and luxury retail executive.
