Sprinkled in Seattle

I'll be the first to confess that I fit the stereotype of the bride who did her own wedding planning before deciding to pursue a career in the field. I never had a wedding planned out to the last detail since I was 12 years old, nor was I ever a sucker for any romantic comedy about weddings. To be completely honest, I never in a million years imagined myself being a wedding coordinator. I should actually give credit to my friends and family who encouraged me to pursue event organizing as a career. Since you're a wedding planner, I'm sure your wedding was amazing, but let me let you in on a little secret that many couples I meet with say. Every error that might have occurred while organizing a wedding did. In October 2012, when my husband and I got hitched, Pinterest had only recently become popular. We obviously had more burlap, lace, and mason jars than was permitted by law. We prepared our own meals. My schedule for the day of was terrible. Instead of using birdseed or something similar, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to toss sprinkles, which resulted in a rainbow-colored sugary smear all over my outfit. Another little-known fact is that the day was ideal. We were married when the celebration was over and we were drinking champagne and shuffling cards on the floor of our flat. While we were on our honeymoon, Sprinkled in Seattle came to pass. I really wanted to explore into becoming an event planner the more I gave it thought and talked to my spouse about it. I used the few hundred dollars we had left after our honeymoon to build the award-winning, customer-focused business we are today, bit by bit.
