It sails from the Harbor in Rockwall, where it has a private docking area between the shore and the lighthouse. Seawolf is perfect for spending time on the water, with plenty of seating all over the deck if you’d like to sit and relax, and open space at the bow which is perfect for pictures. The Gatehouse Pavilion is one of the event spaces at Old Glory Ranch, a Texas Hill Country property along the Blanco River in Wimberley that has hosted weddings and events since 1997. Built for the do-it-yourself bride, the Pavilion suits smaller and more casual gatherings — wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and private parties for guest counts of 100 or fewer, at a more budget-conscious scale than the ranch's larger facilities. The approximately 36-by-60-foot space is outfitted with 10 handcrafted cedar tables and benches, a small kitchenette, two powder rooms, and a sitting/dressing room, along with a stereo system and wireless microphone for toasts and announcements. The ranch was purchased in 2014, and the owners first totally restored the white ranch home before building the three-story barn in 2015. The RoseMary Barn was then renovated from a dilapidated 1970s pole barn at the property's back to the lovely white venue it is today. The RoseMary Barn takes its name from the proprietor's mother. The RoseMary Barn is a stunning all-white event and wedding location located about 5 miles from Historic Downtown Mckinney and hotels. White shiplap is used to build the inside walls and ceilings. The venue features a large bridal suite with h/m stations, cable tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with cable tv/hook ups for a gaming center+mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space shaded by mature trees, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, a bar kitchen for the bartenders, a large catering prep kitchen, and a 40x32 covered pavilion that can be used for a wedding reception. We have a generator in case of power shortages, and we are Uber-friendly, allowing cars to stay overnight if Uber service is required. For our booked wedding groups and/or families, we have on-site over night accommodations in addition to the venue. This two-story barndominium has a cool modern feel to it. It includes a white shiplap kitchen with open cabinetry, gold lights, and a beautiful modern farmhouse vibe. It features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two living areas. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967. The front columns, which are made of Vermont granite and are two storeys tall, are a focal point. The gateway roof is supported by the columns, and the entablature that surrounds the roof is basic in design. The porch is reached through a set of wide stairs, with built-in benches flanking either side. The massive double doors with patterned beveled glass are a thing of breathtaking beauty. Its Antebellum-style architecture draws on the design of Southern Louisiana plantation homes paired with a rugged Texas sensibility, and the grounds are shaded by century-old oak trees and marked by limestone rock formations. Original items once used to work the ranch are displayed throughout the property as a nod to its ranching history. The Historic Heights Fire Station
W 12th St, Houston, TX, USAThe original Houston Heights Fire Station No. 14 is located at Yale and 12th Street, approximately 4 miles north of downtown Houston, and is the last remaining municipal facility from the era when the Heights was a separate municipality. Houston's first public meeting hall, City Hall, fire station, and jail were all constructed in 1914 at a time when horse-drawn fire wagons were still the primary means of transportation. When it became Station Number 14 in 1918, it would remain that way until 1987, when it was permanently decommissioned for the last time. The Houston Heights Association voted in the early millennium to save the building and restore it to its former splendor, and they were successful. After repairing the building and installing vintage carriage-style doors in homage to the horse-drawn carriages of the early twentieth century, when the corral was located directly behind the fire station, The H.H.A. was able to reopen the corral. After being purchased by the Houston Height Association in 1979, the property has since grown to become one of the most popular outdoor wedding venues in the city of Houston.
