  Cypress Grove Wedding Venue is a special place for us, and we're thrilled to share it with you! My name is Ted, and the name of my wife's is Joy. We are young empty nesters who have returned to our hometown and purchased this property in 2016 after having lived away for many years. We have two children and two grandchildren. We live on the property next to the venue and enjoy being on site because it allows us to meet so many beautiful couples as they go through the process of arranging their special wedding weekend. We have a dog and a cat, and we enjoy spending time with them. We have two daughters who are both married and have recently welcomed three adorable boys into the family, making us the proud grandparents of three little boys! Last but not least, don't forget about our newest member of the Cypress Grove family, our adorable Labradoodle Jolie! The venue is a historic general store that was built in 1886 and relocated to its current location in the 1990s. As a general shop, it was well-known for being one of the last locations that Bonnie and Clyde attempted to rob in 1934, when it was still in operation. The store has been transformed into a celebration venue, complete with a lovely verdant open field and a slab for the wedding ceremony. Moreover, in the event that it rains, this historic wedding venue has a one-of-a-kind backup plan. As you step through the old french doors, you are greeted by a spacious covered porch with cypress benches that run the length of the porch. This room is great, and it also serves as a wonderful covered reception area for any event. The atmosphere you will experience here is a classic rustic ambience in a historical setting, yet it has been upgraded with modern amenities like as a large central air system and wi-fi throughout the property. Michabelle has a long-standing wedding clientele and can host events both indoors and outdoors. When the weather permits, outdoor ceremonies are held on the front grounds of the main house on the estate. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Please make reservations for the rehearsal times that you wish to attend. In addition, we have a Bridal Dressing Room available for your convenience. Please contact us for information on pricing and availability for elopement/ceremony-only packages and options. Customers who have booked wedding ceremonies or receptions at Michabelle Inn are the only ones who are permitted to take wedding photographs on the property. All other photography must have the owners' PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL before it can be used. There are no exceptions. This policy will be rigorously adhered to. Wedding receptions are hosted in the Pavilion Ballroom, which can accommodate 50 to 350 guests for a cost of $24 per person plus tax and service (alcohol not included). With the exception of wedding cakes, no outside catering businesses are permitted. We provide a number of bar services in a variety of packages that may be customized to meet the needs of any budget. Michabelle is responsible for providing and serving all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state legislation. We also have 150 parking spaces available on the premises. The standard reception duration is restricted to three hours per person. It is only permitted to bring in outside suppliers to provide flowers, decorations, and the wedding cake.
