Nestled in the Adirondacks near Speculator, New York, Oak Mountain has welcomed skiers and outdoor enthusiasts since 1948 — and for couples, it offers a ceremony unlike most: a summit setting reached by chairlift, with sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valley. Weddings take place year-round, spanning spring blooms, summer sunshine, autumn color, and winter snowscapes. The ceremony unfolds atop the mountain, and guests then gather in the lodge reception space, where windows frame views of the mountain and surrounding terrain. Included in each wedding package are five hours of reception time, banquet tables and chairs, linens and table settings, dinnerware, flatware, glassware, a cake cutting service, and on-site catering and event staff — along with a dedicated event coordinator to guide the planning process.

The Metropolitan Building in New York City is the location of the wedding. Getting Married at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City – This location is magical. From the outside, it appears to be a typical brown stone factory building in the middle of the old and industrial part of LIC, Queens, which is typical of many places in New York City. When you walk through the door, you are transported to another century. Very vintage in appearance, and you can only imagine how many stories this wedding venue could have to tell given its over 100-year existence. Furthermore, celebrating the wedding of Yvonne and Jack with family and friends in this magnificent building was a perfect fit. We started early to make the most of the many floors that this wedding venue had to offer, giddy with anticipation for the big day to finally arrive. The main (2nd Floor) is a beautiful setting for your wedding reception, ceremony, and even dinner, depending on the size of your wedding reception party. The entire space is ethereal, filled with earthy colors and brick walls, as well as gorgeous wooden floors. From the windows, you can see the Queensboro Bridge, which gives you the impression that you are right in the heart of New York City. The third floor is a photographer's dream come true. A floor covered in antiques, mirrors, and props, which contributes to the creation of a very special vintage atmosphere for wedding photographs. There is also a piano, a red room for the bride to get ready in, and a large amount of space for couple portraits as well as large groups and family portraits to be taken on location.

The Surf Lodge's rooms and communal areas are all decorated with a subtle coastal theme that runs throughout them. Arrow Park is an 85-acre private estate set among protected forests and native foliage in Monroe, New York, in the Hudson Valley. At the heart of the property stands the historic Arrow Park Mansion, whose gardens, terraces, and interiors have hosted weddings, retreats, and private celebrations for more than 75 years. The mansion contains five distinct event spaces — including the Main Dining Room, which seats 80 and accommodates 150 standing, and the smaller Library and Sunroom — suited to ceremonies, dinners, and cocktail hours of varying scale. Outdoors, the Mansion Courtyard seats up to 165 guests, while the Ceremonial Garden and Lakefront each accommodate up to 220 and 200 guests respectively. Opened on January 19, 1929, the Buffalo Museum of Science anchors the east end of Humboldt Parkway in Buffalo, New York. The building is operated by the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences — an institution whose origins reach back to 1836 and whose founding petition was signed by former U.S. President Millard Fillmore. Today the museum holds more than 700,000 specimens and eight interactive science studios, shaped by comprehensive renovations that began in 2010. The Kellogg Observatory on campus was restored and reopened in July 2018. Built in the early 1880s for the Fleischmanns Yeast family, the mansion combines Stick Style and Shingle Style architecture with clear pine paneling and hand-painted murals from the Fleischmann era. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has operated as a private event and retreat venue since 2013. The estate accommodates up to 125 guests across a range of indoor and outdoor settings. Inside, a grand dining room, wraparound porch, and eight guest rooms provide the backdrop for intimate gatherings, with a Steinway piano and concert harp among the original furnishings.
