  Chateau Bellevue is a Victorian-era mansion in downtown Austin, built in 1874 and expanded in 1892 under owner Major Ira Hobart Evans, a Union Army veteran and the youngest Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives. Its stained glass windows and intricate wooden detailing make it one of the last remaining examples of Victorian architecture in the city, and it holds both Texas Historic Landmark (1965) and City of Austin Historic Landmark (1974) status. The venue has been owned and operated by the Austin Woman's Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, since 1929. The mansion offers a sequence of spaces for weddings and private events, from the Grand Entryway Foyer with its stained glass and hand-carved woodwork to the Grand Ballroom, which seats up to 175 guests beneath hardwood flooring and a raised stage for a band or DJ.   The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

The chapel, on the outskirts of Texas Women's University, is a hidden sanctuary that has hosted weddings since September 1939, a few months before Eleanor Roosevelt's dedication. The exquisite internal stain glass windows complement the natural splendor that surrounds the Little Chapel. On saw-pierced and riveted brass lighting, and woodwork completed in beech, hand carved woodwork on the pews, the Little Chapel in-the-Woods' rich symbolism delicately conveys "Woman Ministering to Human Needs." Architect O'Neil Ford designed the Chapel, which is 90 feet long and 24 feet broad. During the Great Depression, it was built as a project of the National Youth Administration and dedicated by former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The Little Chapel in the Woods is steeped in history, and every piece in the chapel is imbued with the aesthetic fingerprint of young women artists. The stone walls take on a charming blue tint as the sunshine filters through the stained glass windows, and the exterior is surrounded by magnificent green landscapes. If your wedding is set for the gardens and greenhouse, the Little Chapel will serve as an alternate location in the event of adverse weather, as long as your guest count does not exceed 110.
