Beech Hill Barn is a truly unique venue for wedding celebrations spring through autumn. Our two extraordinary barns, nestled on over 200 acres, offer endless possibilities. Nestled on a private and pristine hilltop in Pittston, Maine, the property features a variety of spaces for your celebration, including the Barn, Carriage Barn, Woodland Cove ceremony site, East Field, and the Meadow. For your comfort and convenience, we offer accommodations for 32 guests in the Barnhouse, Loft, Hill Cottage and 1832 Farmhouse. Province Lake Golf Club is an 18-hole golf and event destination set along the shores of Province Lake in Parsonsfield, Maine — right on the New Hampshire border. Founded in 1918 by Joseph Emery with a front nine designed by Lawrence Van Etten, the course added a modern back nine in 1988 designed by Brian Silva. The 2020 clubhouse features a wraparound veranda with views of the course and lake, and Province Lake is visible from fourteen of the eighteen holes. The property encompasses four connected venues — the golf club and clubhouse, the Carriage House Bistro & Tavern, Edgelake Farm, and the Wakefield Inn — making it a self-contained destination for weddings, golf outings, corporate retreats, and private celebrations. The Province Lake Room accommodates up to 150 guests for post-round banquets and private events, while Edgelake Farm's restored barn hosts weddings and parties for 25 to 250 guests. Rooted in early-1800s New England farmhouse architecture, the Inn blends historic character with updated furnishings across its main house, a freestanding Sugar Maple Cottage, and the Lake House — a post-and-beam structure sleeping up to eight. Rolling lawns, birch-lined trails, and waterfront access with a dock, kayaks, and paddleboards round out the property. Perched along a 1,000-foot ridgeline, the property offers panoramic mountain views from every corner of the grounds and is available for exclusive full-weekend buyouts — guests rent the entire estate from Thursday through Sunday, with the Estate Lodge, Barn, and wooded ceremony site all included. The centerpiece of the property is a 3,500-square-foot hand-crafted timber frame barn with a 28-foot cathedral ceiling, a wall of windows framing the surrounding mountains, a side patio suited for cocktail receptions, and climate-controlled interiors year-round. The barn's pine walls, hand-turned posts and beams, and natural hickory floors give the space a genuine historic character that extends through 3,500 square feet of event-ready interior. The venue accommodates 80 to 180 guests for weddings and private celebrations. Indoor receptions take place in the main barn hall, while outdoor ceremonies are held in the White Pine Cathedral Forest on the property, which includes complimentary white chairs and an arbor. Ketcha Outdoors is a year-round nonprofit on 107 acres in Scarborough, Maine, offering indoor and outdoor event rental space alongside its youth programs. The property's natural setting — open fields, forest trails, and a working barn — gives weddings, reunions, and corporate gatherings a distinctly unpretentious character that is hard to find in traditional event venues. The centerpiece for indoor celebrations is the Great Room, a 2,200-square-foot space with hardwood floors, a 30-foot vaulted ceiling, large windows overlooking the grounds, and a massive stone fireplace. It seats up to 150 guests and connects through sliding doors to the adjacent Conference Room, which seats 40 or more and works well as a breakout or cocktail space. Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center sits on 50 acres in Hallowell, Maine, on land first cleared in the late 1700s and farmed continuously through the 20th century. The main house was built in 1906 and converted to a bed-and-breakfast in 1988; a major renovation in 2001 added guest rooms and restored the Carriage House.
