  Cooks & Soldiers draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France. The Spanish call it Pais Vasco; the Basque say Euskal Herria. Regardless of nomenclature, it stands for thousands of years of fierce independence, cultural autonomy, and unrivaled cuisine. Pintxos are the Basque answer to tapas. From the word for “thorn,” a Pintxo is traditionally served on bread, pierced with a toothpick. Pintxo Bars represent the casual, convivial aspect of Basque dining, where guests order for the table over a glass of Txakoli (crisp, slightly bubbly Basque wine) or tart Basque cider. Every day, we check our employees, and we have also installed six plasma cooling generators in all of our HVAC units, which kill any airborne viruses, germs, and mold as they pass through the system. We simply have two questions: Please stay at home and try again another day if you are not feeling 100 percent. We have no intention of leaving the country. 2. Don't forget to bring a mask. Conyers and Covington, Georgia are just minutes away from The Mill at Yellow River, which is located off I-20. The ancient Mill, which is situated on the banks of the Yellow River, exudes charm and character that your guests will appreciate. A magnificent garden and a spacious outdoor patio are also available at The Mill at Yellow River. A 1,200 square foot bride's loft with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting area, a full kitchen, and a patio that overlooks the Yellow River is also available. We also have access to the Yellow River, which provides spectacular photo opportunity. The Yellow River roars as you go through the rocky terrain. The Lofts are at the entryway to rural Georgia, about thirty minutes from Atlanta and a few miles between Covington and Conyers. They display vintage materials and craftsmanship. Much of The Mill at Yellow River's construction still uses heartwood from mature southern yellow pines for support beams. These trees, sometimes known as longleaf pines, are now extremely rare and virtually always protected, making the production of beams like these nearly difficult. Original maple flooring may be found in several of the Mill's corridors and residences. These floors, which have now been thoroughly restored, have survived seven decades of intensive industrial use and 35 years of neglect.   Crane Creek Vineyards is a family-owned winery set high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, near Brasstown Bald — Georgia's highest peak — and less than two hours from Atlanta. Founded by Eric and DeAnne Seifarth after their retirement from Army service, the vineyard planted its first vines in 1995 and has grown into a multi-venue property rooted in family heritage and Southern hospitality. The vineyard's centerpiece for private events is the Stone House Tasting Room, a hilltop venue with a stone terrace that opens onto sweeping panoramic views of the vineyards, a pond, and the surrounding mountain ridges.   Southern Bridle Farms is a wedding and event venue set on a quiet country property near Perry, Georgia, accessible off Highway 96 just three miles from Interstate 75. Founded in 2012 by two families who set out to build the space they couldn't find elsewhere, the property was designed from the ground up to accommodate gatherings of virtually any size under one roof. The centerpiece of the farm is The Cedar Barn — a 10,000-square-foot structure built in the tradition of old Southern barn design using hand-selected cedar and pine logged and milled locally. Inside, 36-foot ceilings rise above 8x8 support beams, three grand chandeliers, and large sliding barn doors that open onto the surrounding grounds. The barn accommodates 500 or more guests for receptions and large celebrations. The outdoor grounds include a covered ceremony chapel with an arbor entrance, a stacked stone fireplace anchoring a cocktail area, and a Cyprus Bridal Cottage with a kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area, and vanity.
