  Lake Pines Event Center sits on 18 acres in East Columbus, Georgia, where a family campground established in 1967 has grown into a full-service event property with four distinct spaces. The grounds center on a nearly century-old converted barn, a handcrafted chapel, an outdoor pavilion, and an early 19th-century historic home — each built from salvaged architectural materials gathered from across Georgia, giving the property a sense of layered history rather than manufactured rustic charm. The Barn seats up to 150 guests and features drop lights strung from the ceiling, a stone fireplace, Tiffany-style lighting, and a corner stage for live music. The Chapel, completed in 1997, incorporates church pews from Whitewater Baptist, wainscoting from an old post office, and a steeple from Hiawassee. The outdoor Pavilion, set on a stone-trimmed terraced meadow with westward views, accommodates up to 200 guests for ceremonies under open skies. The Lillie House, a restored shotgun-style home, seats 45 and is well suited for showers, rehearsal dinners, and small receptions.   Thank you for your interest in the Sacred Heart Cultural Center's restored historic setting. We look forward to hearing from you. Our goal is to provide you with unsurpassed personal attention for any occasion you may be celebrating. This former Catholic Church, which was built in 1898, is distinguished by its Romanesque Revival architecture, fifteen distinct brick styles, imported stained glass windows, and intricately carved Italian marble. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1988. Sacred Heart, which has been transformed into a cultural center, is the ideal location for your special event. • 7000 square feet in total, including the Great Hall There are 500 standing room only seats for 600 theatre style and 240 banquet style. The room is 100 feet long from back doors to stage steps and 60 feet wide. The room can accommodate 500 people for a reception and 600 people for a theatre style seating. Restrooms and a raised stage area measuring 33 x 19 feet Men's and women's restrooms are located on the first floor. Handicapped restroom facilities are located in the west round room off the Great Hall. Cooking facilities are available in a caterer's kitchen off the Great Hall, which includes the following equipment: gas stove with double ovens, triple sink, double door refrigerator with ice maker (capacity 400lbs), and warming oven. Parking Facilities • There are approximately 190 visitor parking spaces at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center, which are located in the lot across the street and to the left of the building and grounds. • There are an additional 100 parking spaces in the surrounding neighborhood. Included in the rental price is the following equipment: A total of 300 chairs will be provided. A sound system with lapel and stand microphones will be provided. A baby grand piano will be provided as part of the rental. Bride and Groom have their own dressing rooms, which are adjacent to the Great Hall. Bridal portraits can be taken in the facility and in the lush courtyard adjacent to the Great Hall.

The 3,000-square-foot venue centers on a wide open floor plan beneath 35-foot vaulted ceilings with soaring heart pine rafters, posts, and beams. Three large garage doors open the space toward an adjoining plaza, flooding the interior with natural light and allowing the event footprint to expand outdoors under a tent when the occasion calls for it. Exposed brick walls, finished concrete floors, antique chandeliers, and variable lighting round out a setting that suits everything from a seated wedding reception to a gallery showcase to a corporate meeting. The main hall accommodates up to 175 guests indoors. A full catering kitchen with commercial appliances is on-site, and clients are welcome to bring their own caterers and beverages.   George and Judy Lee, with the help of Skip Engelbrecht, founded La Maison Rouge in 1995. Located in the center of Paris on Ponce, which has been a prominent shopping destination in midtown Atlanta for more than 30 years. The extravagant and lavish furnishings were gathered from abroad buying trips, mansions in Georgia, and we are especially privileged to have some pieces from Coretta Scott's and Dr. Martin Luther King's homes. We've staged countless festivities, fundraisers, and events over the previous 25 years. On the 100th anniversary of the building's construction, a fire broke out on Ponce de Leon on Thanksgiving Eve, 2019. The cause is unknown, but despite the enormous destruction, much of the furniture and the heart of La Maison Rouge were spared. We never imagined we'd be able to locate anything as special as our Midtown apartment, but we did! The Healey Building, where we now reside, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1913, it's a magnificent neo-gothic marble structure with a stunning entry rotunda that we can use in addition to our new area. We now have a greater capacity and more availability for smaller events thanks to the new space, which is about double the size of our prior location. Furthermore, we are no longer limited to merely holding evening activities. We may now host events at any time! If you liked our prior location in Midtown, you'll adore our new digs.

  The Engine Room is a one-of-a-kind event facility in historic downtown Monroe, Georgia, housed in portion of the Monroe Cotton Mills, which housed the engines that powered the mill machinery for 90 years. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls with worn paint, heart of pine columns, iron bars covering a few of the windows, and major entrances with historic sliding fire doors have all been repaired and kept intact in the building, which has been a part of Monroe's history since 1895. This completely accessible, climate controlled space is one of the largest in Walton county, with modern comforts like as a full service commercial catering prep kitchen, updated industrial chic restrooms, and a huge bridal suite. The Engine Room's 6,400 sq ft main hall can accommodate groups of up to 400 seated or 500 standing people, but it may also be partitioned to accommodate smaller wedding ceremonies and receptions. With the old brick mill building and its surrounding towers acting as a magnificent backdrop, the expansive outdoor lawn provides an acre and a half of green area for ceremonies, parties, and picnics. The Engine Room also has a tucked-away outdoor patio for receptions and short ceremonies in a secluded open-air setting. Weddings The Engine Room is Monroe's newest and most interesting Special Events venue, providing both value and beauty. The Engine Room, with over 15,000 square feet of total area, can accommodate weddings of all shapes and sizes. The Engine Room boasts a single venue space of over 6,250 square feet, fully accessible space and facilities, climate control, a full-service caterer's kitchen, abundant parking, a secluded outdoor patio alcove, stunning hardwood floors, and an intimate old mill setting. Tables and chairs are included in the rental, in addition to these features. There are no vendor requirements in the Engine Room. While we can recommend some excellent merchants, all renters are free to choose their preferred vendors.
