For nearly 60 years, Robert Carr Chapel, which was dedicated in 1954, has held events on the TCU campus. It has served as a landmark for generations of Horned Frogs and the community of Fort Worth. The chapel accepts a range of programs and visitors, from campus worship services to weddings. The chapel was renovated in 2016 and now has greater accessibility, use, and a TCU-friendly purple aisle. The chapel's architecture incorporates many design elements from American Colonial churches, such as the prominent stone columns, spire, brass chandeliers, Palladian windows, and classically built chancel, which have remained unchanged since the refurbishment. Robert Carr Chapel hosts over 100 weddings and 400 events each year, attracting an average of 15,000 visitors. The Robert Carr Chapel, which just celebrated its 63rd anniversary, organizes approximately 400 events every year for an average of 30,000 visitors.   The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

  Hillcrest Golf and Country Club has served the Lubbock, Texas area since 1950, with its course opening in September 1953 with a founding membership of 120. Today the private club offers golf, tennis, a pool, and dining alongside dedicated wedding and private event bookings held on its grounds. Wedding ceremonies at Hillcrest take place outdoors on the club's grounds, set among mature trees near the surrounding golf course, with private event bookings also available for other celebrations. The club has been a fixture in the Lubbock area for more than 70 years, with staff on hand to look after members and guests during golf, dining, and event visits alike.
