Midland County Horseshoe Arena, Pavilion & Amphitheater is a 100-acre event complex in Midland, Texas, at the heart of the Permian Basin. Open since 2006, the venue describes itself as the place "Where the Permian Basin Gathers to Celebrate," having hosted more than 3,000 events and welcomed over 2 million guests. The complex centers on a 1,000+ seat indoor arena and one of Texas' largest covered pavilions, giving it the scale to host everything from concerts, rodeos, and monster truck events to trade shows, conventions, and expos. The Pavilion spans nearly 60,000 square feet and can be configured into three separate halls, Hall A, Hall B, and Hall S, to suit events of different sizes. Built more than a century ago in downtown Austin, the Byrne-Reed House is a restored Texas vernacular residence that now serves as the headquarters of Humanities Texas. Designed by architect Charles H. Page, the house was renovated over the course of a year following nearly a decade of planning, and the restoration went on to earn eleven architectural awards along with coverage in Texas Architect, Humanities Magazine, Preservation, and Old House Journal. The house's first floor offers roughly 2,600 square feet of gracious public space, including an entrance foyer, dining room, gallery, and living room, all centered on the Julius and Suzan Glickman Room. A 1,000-square-foot wraparound porch and east and south terraces extend the setting outdoors, while a second-floor library adds further character. A catering kitchen, elevator, and large restrooms round out the building, which is ADA accessible with parking available. The Byrne-Reed House has hosted teacher workshops and Humanities Texas's annual Holiday Book Fair, reflecting its role as a gathering place for the community as well as the organization's own offices.

Milltown Historic District sits in the center of New Braunfels, Texas, next to the historic Faust Street Bridge on the Guadalupe River. The Grande Ballroom, once a hotel in the 1920s, brings a New Orleans-inspired atmosphere to the Texas Hill Country with gas lighting, chandeliers, and a grand staircase, and seats up to 150 guests for ceremonies and receptions; its covered courtyard adds space for a cocktail hour. The Gallery, formerly a 1920s general store, is Milltown's smaller and more rustic venue, with a high beamed ceiling, string lighting, and a landscaped courtyard with a stone arch, seating up to 75 guests.
