Our facility can accommodate a wide range of private events such as weddings, business events, birthday and bridal showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, conferences, and more. To avoid having to wash dishes at night for her large family or having to eat hamburger helper (her brother's favorite dish to cook), Linda traded dish duties with her siblings for cooking duties, and developed an intense passion for planning menus, creating recipes, and putting on dinners and events for her family of 15 children. Linda is the mother of 15 children. In her adolescence, she could frequently be found in bookshops reading cookbooks, and she had a cherished memory of reading "The French Laundry Cookbook" for the first time from cover to cover when it was originally published. She made the decision to attend a cooking school shortly after, having no idea that it would turn out to be a career choice. Having been born and reared in Argentina to an American father and a French mother, she comes from a diverse background of cultures and experiences, which contributes to the diverse range of flavors she enjoys putting into her dishes. She moved to the Bay Area when she was 17 years old in order to attend culinary school in San Francisco. After stays in New York and Kansas City, she returned to the Bay Area and began performing at some of the city's most prestigious restaurants, including Masa's, Campton Place, The French Laundry, and Michael Mina's, among others.

Site rentals are available at Pie Ranch for a range of occasions. Our farm welcomes retreats, conferences, birthday parties, and other special events in addition to weddings! The Roadside Barn at Pie Ranch is a nice indoor facility with outdoor tables and a music system for evening use. Our "Lower Slice" rental is a lovely outside place with a meadow and a rustic outdoor kitchen to use. We have a fully equipped classroom available for retreats and conferences. All weddings and events are held at our primary facility, which is located at 2080 Cabrillo Highway in Pescadero, California. The property centers on the historic Big White Barn, a two-story structure built in 1945 that originally served as a harness horse breeding and training facility. Today the ranch accommodates weddings, corporate retreats, quinceañeras, reunions, concerts, and a wide range of private celebrations, operating year-round across both indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue offers seven distinct event spaces across its grounds, including the barn, gardens, meadow, gazebo, and rock garden, with a maximum capacity of 660 guests. Cabrillo Beach Bath House is a historic Mediterranean-style bathhouse built in 1932 on the shore of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Los Angeles. Originally constructed as the last major bathhouse in Southern California, the 26,000-square-foot landmark was fully restored in 2002 and is now operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a special event venue. The bathhouse offers an upstairs ballroom with vaulted ceilings, a hardwood dance floor, and windows that let in natural light, alongside an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Together the spaces accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, birthday celebrations, and business meetings — with capacity of 150 when the dance floor is in use. The facility is ADA accessible, with an elevator, automatic restroom doors, and other accessibility features added during the 2002 renovation.

Established in 1915 by Italian immigrant, Cesar Menotti, Townhouse is the oldest bar in Venice and one of the oldest bars in the Los Angeles area. Townhouse's live entertainment basement, The Del Monte, was a true speakeasy during Prohibition (1920-1933) and a night-life nucleus, serving many nefarious and infamous characters of the day, masked cleverly by Menotti's grocery store above. Underneath the rows of produce was a trap door and dumbwaiter that could bring down two guests at a time. Alcohol was brought in by boats from Canada and then smuggled via underground tunnels. Once Prohibition ended in 1933, a staircase was added. Today both floors serve hand-crafted cocktails from the golden age of drinking with classic bartending techniques and know-how and offer a fine library of world-class spirits, beer, and wine. The Del Monte features the crème de la crème of live entertainment including live music, djs, comedy and burlesque, five to seven nights per week.
