Walk in customers would step right over a black rope that was put up for boundaries and look around the space in awe! This building, once an old door factory with two floors, was gutted by the architectural genius and landlord. These walls, this corner, this neighborhood married with the floral expertise of Rebecca and her team have led her to open this very special, unique and intimate space.   The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, located in the Bronx's Pelham Bay Park and the only remaining big country estate in the city, covers the social history of the individuals who lived and worked on the estate during the nineteenth century. The mission of the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, which is the last remaining "great country estate" in the Bronx Pelham Bay Park, is to create a vibrant site through the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of the property and grounds for the benefit of the public throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area and beyond. In order to achieve our mission, we must do the following things: 1) protect, preserve, and restore the site's architecture, landscape, and collection; 2) interpret the site's history in compelling and innovative ways; and 3) develop dynamic education programs for students in grades K-12, adults, and families.   HayLoft In The Grove is a restored mid-1800s timber-framed barn set on nearly 100 acres outside East Aurora, New York. Once a working dairy farm — and later a horse training facility with a quarter-mile sulky racing track — the property was purchased in 2007 by Jeni and Jason Burford, who chose to preserve the deteriorating structure rather than demolish it. Amish craftsmen undertook an extensive restoration beginning in 2008, retaining original handmade wooden pegs, mortise-and-tenon joints, and stone foundation. The grounds include cornfields, forests, three ponds, and expansive gardens. For events, the property offers an outdoor ceremony area with comfortable seating for up to 200 guests, set beneath a wooden arbor with chiffon drapes and a brass chandelier against a cornfield backdrop. The Stables — a former horse facility converted in 2019 — serves as an indoor gathering space with antique pews from the 1920s, wooden beams, and crystal chandeliers, along with dedicated bride and groom suites and covered outdoor patios with string lighting.
