The 44,500-square-foot Hangar Deck (Hangar Bays 1, 2, and 3) supports multiple stages, large seated dinners, trade shows, and conventions, while Hangar Bay 3 alone seats up to 650 for formal dinners and presentations. Events aboard the Hornet can be enhanced with ship tours, a state-of-the-art flight simulator on the Hangar Deck that seats up to 15, docent-led tours of historic locations including the Engine Room and Combat Information Center, fireworks displays, and scavenger hunts.
