Prince William, Virginia's Bel Air 1740 is a sophisticated, new English garden venue that is located approximately 25 minutes south of Washington, DC in Prince William. Beloved Bel Air is a private 25 acre enclave of spectacular rural beauty nestled in the heart of a bustling urban region with easy access to Uber / taxi service as well as a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and other services. Because of its beautiful rolling fields, elegant lawns, and lovely English gardens, Bel Air 1740 is a beautiful venue for indoor and outdoor receptions, pictures, and ceremonies. It also has a new Wedding Barn for ceremonies and receptions. The 7000 square foot climate controlled wedding barn has a capacity of 150 guests (with a permit, it may accommodate up to 200+ guests). A wheelchair accessible facility on a single level has been constructed. An imposing great hall with 25 foot ceilings and a cutting edge theatrical sound and lighting system are among the many highlights of the barn. The barn is equipped with two large ready rooms, a huge warming kitchen, and a wide covered terrace that can be enclosed with glass panels and heated during the colder months. Great Meadow is a 374-acre expanse of preserved open land in The Plains, Virginia, in the heart of the state's Horse and Hunt Country and about 30 minutes from Washington, D.C. Founded in 1983 by journalist and conservationist Arthur "Nick" Arundel, the property was transformed from an abandoned farm into permanent green space and placed under a conservation easement with the backing of 100 Founding Life Members. Today the Great Meadow Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, operates the grounds as an outdoor events center, hosting equestrian competitions, festivals, community gatherings, and weddings across its rolling hills and open meadows. Couples can choose separate on-site locations for ceremony and reception and bring in their own vendors, with tented receptions set beneath open sky. Because the Foundation is a nonprofit, rental fees support its ongoing work preserving open space and advancing equestrian sport, and event proceeds may qualify as a tax deduction for renters.

Great Marsh Estate's Manor House was built in the 1980s as a historical re-creation of a conventional Georgian manor house. After years of serving as a private property, the transfer to a wedding venue in 2018 seemed logical. While your guests chat on the first floor and the gentlemen play pool in our basement groom's suite, the Manor House 2nd floor rooms provide a wide and lovely backdrop for your morning hair and makeup as a bridal suite. Our famed Georgian Mansion is nestled in over 121 acres of lawn and forest, close to Warrenton and only an hour drive from Washington, DC, with restored period features and illustrious past and charm. Great Marsh Estate's Manor House is your very own unique country house for the day, with a luxurious bridal suite and a peaceful groom's lounge. The spiraling staircase, twelve-foot ceilings, stunning mirrors and lighting, and panoramic views of the courtyard Ceremony Site in the Bridal Suite were all designed with you and your guests in mind. Chrysalis Vineyards sits on more than 400 acres of historic farmland in Loudoun County, Virginia — land George Washington once called "the breadbasket of the American Revolution." Fifty of those acres are planted with vines, including what the vineyard describes as the largest planting of Norton, Virginia's native grape, in the world, alongside other European varieties suited to the local soil and climate. Private events are hosted at the Champe Ford Events Center, a dedicated space on the property separate from the winery's main tasting room. The Events Center offers indoor and outdoor space for weddings, private tastings, birthday parties, and corporate gatherings. Old Town Hall is a stately Colonial Revival building at the heart of the nationally recognized City of Fairfax Historic District. Built in 1900 by Joseph E. Willard — later lieutenant governor of Virginia and U.S. ambassador to Spain — the hall was presented to the Town of Fairfax in 1902 and quickly became the center of Fairfax social life. Its neo-classical design combines Tuscan order columns with Federal-style details, including a fanlight window over the front doors and round-headed gabled dormers. The venue offers two rentable levels: a Main Floor accommodating up to 150 guests and an Upper Level for up to 120, suited to weddings, private parties, and meetings. Adjacent to the hall, the Kitty Pozer Garden offers a shaded, perennial-filled setting for photos, while the neighboring Old Town Square — with its splash pad, pergola, and patio furniture — can be reserved in conjunction with the hall for ceremonies and cocktail hours.

The Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center sits in the heart of the City of Fairfax, adjacent to Van Dyck Park and within walking distance of Old Town Fairfax. Operated by the City of Fairfax, the community center offers three flexible rental spaces suited to everything from an intimate meeting to a wedding reception. The Performance Space is the center's largest room, with a wood dance floor and room for up to 333 seated guests or 500 for a standing reception when rented in full; it can also be rented as a half-space accommodating 167 seated or 250 standing. The Mason Family Rehearsal Space holds up to 70 guests, and the Greenfield Family Art Room accommodates up to 60, giving planners smaller options for rehearsal dinners, meetings, and private parties alongside the center's larger events. Rentals include tables and chairs, and the venue is suited to weddings, large events, meetings, and artistic performances, with rental hours extending into the evening on weekends.

What began as a one-room log cabin grew through the 19th century into the estate known as Hillcrest, which withstood a Civil War battle between Union and Confederate forces before falling into disrepair; new owners restored the property in 1965 and renamed it The Briar Patch, adding a swimming pool and gardens while preserving its historic character. Historic Blenheim is a Civil War-era estate in the City of Fairfax, Virginia, operated by the City as an event venue and interpretive center. The centerpiece is a Greek-Revival/Georgian brick house built around 1859 for the Willcoxon family, where Federal soldiers left graffiti on the interior walls during the winter of 1862-63 — a detail that has made the property a stop on both the Virginia Civil War Trails and the Northern Virginia Graffiti Trail. The adjoining Civil War Interpretive Center houses a gallery with a full-sized replica of the house's attic and glass walls that look out over the historic grounds.
