14TENN is an industrial blank canvas event space in The Nations neighborhood of Nashville TN. THE NATIONS' HISTORY: The Nations was once the point where Native American tribes would meet to communicate with each other. Today, the neighborhood has been redeveloped into an eclectic spot for local breweries, restaurants and retail, with 51st ave being the epicenter. The building that is now 14TENN was built in 1925 as part of the original Belle Meade Hosiery Mill. A richly historical city, Nashville is also home to Vanderbilt University, The Grand Ole Opry, and a to-scale replica of the Parthenon. Nashville, known as Music City, is famous for country music, hot chicken, and whiskey. A museum with both permanent and changing contemporary exhibitions is located inside the Parthenon. The goddess of wisdom and war Athena is shown in a magnificent 42-foot-tall golden statue in the Naos chamber. Casts of the original Parthenon can be found in the Treasury. Private arrangements for the Parthenon can be made outside regular museum hours. The Naos Room, Treasury, and art galleries can all be accessed only by those who have exclusive reservations.
