Fortino Winery Event Center sits on 30 acres in Gilroy, California, along the scenic Hecker Pass Highway — a working winery established in 1970, surrounded by Merlot and Chardonnay vineyards, towering redwoods, and manicured hillside grounds. Two dedicated event spaces accommodate celebrations from intimate gatherings to weddings of up to 300 guests. The outdoor Redwood Terrace features a ceremony area, reception lawn, covered stage and dance floor, full bar, and private entry through the vineyard. The Barrel Room is an indoor banquet hall — recently renovated with air conditioning and heat — with an attached outdoor covered space and vineyard views, suited for up to 120 guests. In-house catering draws on Italian culinary traditions, with menus offered buffet-style, family-style, or as plated dinners; the kitchen team also accommodates specialty menus. This Arts and Crafts bungalow, established by the ladies of We and Our Neighbors, is a historic landmark and California's oldest continuously utilized women's clubhouse. The San Jose Clubhouse welcomes you to host your next event with fewer than 80 attendees. This charming establishment has been meticulously preserved and upgraded to retain its original charm. It's perfect for modest weddings, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers, memorials, business meetings, birthday parties, boutiques, art displays and music recitals, and more, thanks to its comfortable masonry fireplace, hardwood floors, and stained glass lighting. "We and Our Neighbors" are our auxiliary and celebration guides, for which we are grateful. We and Our Neighbors, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, owns the San Jose Clubhouse. Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose occupies a striking purple building designed by Mexico City-based architect Ricardo Legorreta at 180 Woz Way in downtown San Jose. The 52,000-square-foot structure houses 28,000 square feet of gallery space featuring more than 150 interactive exhibits spanning science, art, nature, and culture, alongside Bill's Backyard — a half-acre outdoor nature play area that opened in 2017 with climbing structures and dig areas. Non-religious legal marriage ceremonies performed by a government official or registrar are known as civil wedding services. Wedding ceremonies are not presided over by officiants or registrars in the city of San José. Couples can either bring their own officiant or plan a time with the County of Santa Clara to have a designated officiant offered to them for their wedding ceremony at City Hall. The Rotunda at City Hall in San José can be used for wedding ceremonies and/or parties. The building is a modern architectural marvel, standing 110 feet tall and featuring terrazzo flooring and glass walls that let in plenty of natural light.
