The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum is a National and State Historic Landmark anchored in Alameda, California, just 20 minutes from San Francisco. Moored on San Francisco Bay with sweeping views of the city skyline and the Bay Bridge, the historic aircraft carrier USS Hornet — a veteran of World War II, the Vietnam War, and NASA's Apollo 11 and Apollo 12 recovery missions — serves as one of Northern California's most distinctive event venues. Complimentary parking for more than 500 vehicles is located directly across from the pier. Seven distinct event spaces aboard the ship accommodate gatherings from 16 to 3,000 guests, ranging from the 90,000-square-foot Flight Deck for large-scale picnics and concerts to the intimate Captain's Conference Room where ship captains and presidents once convened. The 44,500-square-foot Hangar Deck (Hangar Bays 1, 2, and 3) supports multiple stages, large seated dinners, trade shows, and conventions, while Hangar Bay 3 alone seats up to 650 for formal dinners and presentations. Terra Mia Ristorante Italiano has been bringing genuine Italian cooking to the Livermore Valley since 2006. Located at 4040 East Avenue in Livermore, California, the restaurant draws on the traditions of Italian home cooking — simple, honest recipes using fresh, sustainable ingredients and pasta made in-house. Three private banquet rooms accommodate a range of gatherings. The Barolo Room seats up to 50 guests, the Chianti Room offers space for up to 60 in a secluded setting behind the bar, and the Main Room — the largest of the three — accommodates up to 120 seated guests. An outdoor patio rounds out the venue's options. Events can be scheduled for lunch, afternoon, or dinner service. Terra Mia is well suited for weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, baby showers, anniversaries, baptisms, and business meetings. Cresta Blanca Ballroom The Cresta Blanca Ballroom is an excellent choice for any type of gathering. Guests from all over the world can gather to celebrate your big day in the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country. Our ballroom is bright and spacious, with neutral tones and plenty of natural light. From the moment you walk in the door to see our venue until the moment you share your last dance of the night, our skilled crew is here to make sure your event is joyful, beautiful, and breathtaking. A built-in dance floor, stage, catering kitchen, tables, and chairs are all available in our ballroom. We do not have a list of favored vendors. Our ballroom may be partitioned, giving renters two options: Cresta Blanca North or Cresta Blanca South, for parties that require a smaller location. Facility Event Rental Process Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first-served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. The remaining rental fees must be paid sixty (60) days prior to the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations. A facility, date, or requested times are not guaranteed or secured by submitting an application. History It was built in 1867 and is a California Historical Landmark because it was the first non native residence to be constructed in Crockett. The Carquinez Women's Club has been caringly preserving the integrity of this beautiful home over the years, and it is currently being maintained and controlled by the organization. It has been in the care of the Carquinez Women's Club since 1974 that the Old Homestead and gardens are maintained. The Crockett Lions Club was the driving force behind the extensive restorations. New window coverings, interior painting, a disability ramp, a bathroom addition, the repair of the former bathroom, and more were all done as part of the remodeling project. Several organizations, including the Crockett Community Foundation, C&H Sugar Company, and the Carquinez Women's Club, all graciously contributed to the success of these initiatives. Hannah Nicole is a place where farming and winemaking are intertwined. In our opinion, quality wine begins with high-quality grapes grown in a well-managed vineyard. Our winemaking is focused on retaining that quality throughout the winemaking process while also producing wines that are real and fascinating for both wine specialists and newbies to the world of wine. Sustainable farming practices are used on our 54-acre vineyard, with a significant emphasis placed on minimizing environmental effect and increasing biodiversity. KG Vineyard Management and John Derr Vineyard Consulting provide guidance on all aspects of vineyard management for us. We like to work by hand, and we prefer to work slowly and meticulously in order to avoid any significant mechanical influence on the vines. It is important to handle irrigation carefully, and many blocks are dry farmed in order to slow maturity and increase concentration. Our vineyard is planted with all red Bordeaux varietals, as well as Grenache and Mourvedre for some Rhone Spirit and some new world Petite Sirah. We also have a little amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. The white varietals grown on the land include our world-renowned Sauvignon Blanc as well as Viognier. Hannah Nicole Vineyards is the ideal location to host your next private or business event or gathering.
