THE NATIONS' HISTORY: The Nations was once the point where Native American tribes would meet to communicate with each other. The building that is now 14TENN was built in 1925 as part of the original Belle Meade Hosiery Mill. The heated and cooled interior of the log house retains its original stone fireplace and suits intimate ceremonies, while a flagstone pathway leads from the house out to the Circle of Trees, an outdoor ceremony site shaded by century-old trees on the front lawn. Set on 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River in Old Hickory, just 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, Hermitage Golf Course has served as a golf and event destination since 1986. The property is anchored by two 18-hole courses — the President's Reserve, designed by Denis Griffiths and stretching to 7,200 yards, and the General's Retreat, designed by Gary Roger Baird and a former host of the LPGA Sara Lee Classic — and is known for more than 40 Scottish Blackfaced sheep that roam the grounds year-round as a nod to golf's Scottish origins. For weddings and private events, the grounds offer a range of spaces built around the same river and course views: an open-ceiling Pavilion with market string lights and a stone fireplace, a landscaped Garden ceremony site, an indoor Banquet Hall, and The Gallery for buffet-style receptions. VENUE 109 is an event space north of Nashville, located across from Rivergate Mall in Madison, Tennessee. The all-wood venue accommodates approximately 150 to 250 guests depending on the type of event, and hosts weddings, wedding receptions, bridal showers, and private parties. For smaller celebrations, VENUE 109 also offers a micro wedding package for guest lists of about 20 to 50 people, geared toward couples who want an intimate setting without a large-scale production. Every rental includes tables, chairs, linens, TVs, and a premium sound and lighting system, and the venue is handicap accessible. The space doubles as a live music venue, outfitted with a Behringer X32 mixing board, a full drum set, stage monitors, powered EV speakers, stage lighting, a live camera feed, and microphones, with the all-wood construction lending natural acoustics. VENUE 109 is led by co-founders Nichole R. Mason and Keith L. Mason, whose team coordinates catering, bar service, and event logistics from start to finish.

Andrew Jackson's Hermitage sits on 1,120 acres in Nashville, Tennessee, and has welcomed guests since the mansion first opened to the public in 1889. It is one of the oldest and largest historic site museums in the United States and a National Historic Landmark, maintained to look as it did when Andrew Jackson, the nation's 7th president, remodeled it following a fire in 1837. More than 80 percent of the objects inside the mansion are original to Jackson's lifetime, and interpreters lead visitors through the home and its surrounding grounds, which include the log dwellings where the enslaved community lived and where the Jackson family first settled the property. Tours are offered in five languages, reflecting the site's standing as one of the most visited historic house museums in the country. Cedar Springs at Bone Hollow is a multigenerational family farm spanning roughly 150 acres in Lebanon, Tennessee, just outside Nashville. Once managed by a retired physician, Dr. Phillips, the property is now run by younger generations of the family, who have worked to preserve its historic character while updating it for modern celebrations. The farm's centerpiece is Phillips Barn, a climate-controlled, 6,500-square-foot event space with 30-foot vaulted ceilings and string lighting, originally built in the early 2000s for a family wedding. Around it, a collection of 19th-century log cabins — including a main cabin dating to the 1820s and a smaller cabin relocated from nearby Carver Lane — now serve as climate-controlled bridal and groom's quarters, complete with kitchens, fireplaces, and bathrooms, and can also be booked as overnight lodging. Beyond the barn and cabins, Cedar Springs offers several outdoor gathering spots, including circular lawns and a fire pit pavilion, set against open farmland. The venue hosts weddings, corporate events and retreats, family reunions, and other private celebrations, with a dedicated events team, on-site catering kitchens, and ample parking supporting events of varying sizes.
