With a Skylight view of the Transamerica Pyramid and a location on the 4th floor of Wayfare Tavern, the Sequoia was created to be a show-stopping experience. The vault has been repurposed into a secret seating area, as part of the legendary Ken Fulk's creative vision, which pays homage to the building's history. The room is fully equipped with Sonos surround sound and televisions for presenting or watching sporting events, among other things. Our private room on the second floor is available for rent as a pool room or as a dining room for up to 20 people. The pool table can be transformed into a dining table with a wood top that can accommodate up to 14 guests. The Billiards Room is located on the second floor, within the warm and inviting wood-paneled library. The room can accommodate a maximum of 14 people. An antique tin ceiling, a vintage red felt pool table that can also serve as a dining table, and double-paned glass doors distinguish the Billiards Room from the other areas of the hotel. This area, which is equipped with a high-definition flat screen television that broadcasts all major sports and entertainment channels, is the ideal place to play pool, watch sporting events, and eat some of our canapés or family-style favorites while watching sports.

Rippon Lodge is a Prince William County historic site built circa 1747 for Richard Blackburn, making it one of the oldest surviving homes in the county. Set on 43 acres above the Potomac River, the property includes formal gardens, walking trails, and the Blackburn and Atkinson family cemetery, with a history that spans colonial tobacco production, Revolutionary War-era politics, and a family connection to George Washington's nephew by marriage. The home was updated in a Colonial Revival style beginning in 1923 and remained with descendants of its original builder until Prince William County acquired it in 2000. For events, Rippon Lodge offers grounds rental with vast lawns and outdoor gardens overlooking the Potomac River, suited to weddings and receptions of up to 150 to 200 guests under large reception tents. Music is permitted, and couples may bring in a caterer of their choice, with wine, beer, and champagne allowed under proper permits. Guided tours of the historic home can be arranged for guests on the day of an event with advance notice.

The flagship Belle of Louisville, built in 1914, is a National Historic Landmark and the only remaining authentic steamboat from the American packet boat era — bringing a genuine piece of riverboat heritage to every charter. For private events, the Belle of Louisville accommodates up to 600 guests with an enclosed Ballroom Deck that seats 230 in buffet-style configuration, and is available for charters from April through October. The Mary M. When you get married at the Morrison-Clark Hotel, which is conveniently located in the heart of Washington, DC, you can take advantage of its rich history, great gastronomy, and impeccable service standards to create the wedding of your dreams. The Morrison-Clark opened its doors in 1987 following a restoration effort overseen by William Adair (who was also in charge of the White House's repairs) of two Victorian town houses erected in 1864 by the Morrison and Clark families and held by the Morrison and Clark families. The Soldiers, Sailors, and Marine Club was established in 1930 by the Women's Army and Navy League, who purchased the town homes and converted them into a military housing facility for military personnel passing through the nation's capital. Although the Club was known for hosting silver teas and Sunday coffee, it was also a popular gathering place for high society women such as First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady Admiral Dewey, and First Lady Calvin Coolidge, among others. In 2013, the hotel launched an extension project to integrate the adjoining Parsonage and Chinese Community Church into its premises, as well as an 18th Century Carriage House, thus enriching the rich heritage present inside our walls. Designed by Roger Null and open since 2000, the course features links-style zoysia and bluegrass fairways with double bent grass greens, and five tee sets that accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The Squadron Room, the club's dedicated event space, seats between 20 and 160 guests and is available for a wide range of private occasions — from birthday celebrations, quinceañeras, and anniversaries to corporate seminars, school banquets, and award ceremonies. Set on more than an acre of landscaped grounds surrounded by pine and fir trees, an open lawn, and a pond, the property offers far-reaching views with Mount Hood visible on clear days, and more than 300 days of sunshine a year. For weddings, the Balch offers three approaches: intimate elopements, a full-property buyout with overnight accommodations for up to 40 guests across all 20 rooms, and a multi-day wedding weekend. Every wedding package includes use of the hotel and grounds, tables and chairs with setup, on-site coordination, and access to both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations.
