Located inside Houston's historic Esperson Building, the city's first skyscraper, Studio Eight08 is a 5,000+ square foot gallery and event space where the environment is part of what makes the night memorable. Rotating works by local and contemporary artists line the walls year-round, which means your event does not just happen here. It lives inside something that already has a point of view. The space was designed for people who care about how things look and feel. The track lighting system gives your planner and our team full control over atmosphere, from the soft warmth of a candlelit dinner to the dramatic wash of a milestone birthday reveal. The open floor plan is fully modular, which means your vision shapes the room rather than the other way around. We have hosted wedding receptions with long banquet tables dressed in white linen and florals, intimate birthday dinners with projected monograms on the gallery wall, cocktail receptions with guests moving freely between lounge areas and the bar, and celebrations of every milestone in between. The space holds all of it beautifully because it was built to transform. Inside, you will find a full-service bar with on-site staff, a professional DJ booth, a complete AV and sound system, a catering prep kitchen for your outside caterer, and ADA-accessible restrooms. We connect researchers and visitors with our collection in the Newberry’s reading rooms, exhibition galleries, program spaces, classrooms, and online digital resources. Since its founding in 1887, the Newberry has remained dedicated to deepening our collective understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Nestled just steps from the Magnificent Mile, and across the street from the city’s oldest public park, Washington Square Park, the Newberry Library offers indoor event spaces with various capacities for intimate presentations, performances, formal ceremonies, fundraisers, galas, high-end corporate entertaining, all-day conferences, workshops and trainings, dramatic cocktail receptions, elegant dinner celebrations, and multimedia presentations. Our largest event space, Ruggles Hall, can accommodate up to 160 guests in a warm and cozy library atmosphere created by its mahogany paneled walls and broad windows overlooking Washington Square Park. For more intimate gatherings, the newly created Rettinger Hall and Baskes Boardroom feature beautiful marble floors and specialty recessed lighting, and are lovely complements to the Newberry’s unique aesthetic.

LUCE Events started 11 years ago with the historic LUCE LOFT venue, located within the 1928 Qualitee Dairy Warehouse in Downtown San Diego. LUCE LOFT features a high arching barrel ceiling, poured concrete walls, multiple furnished loft spaces and all of the rustic-urban charm you could dream of! The venue spans 4,000 sq ft and includes a full day rental, two furnished suites, 4 restrooms, market lights and Sonos speakers. Suite Svn is an Event Space and Production Studio geared to provide services for professionals and everyday consumers. A brand new 5,800 square foot space, “Suite Svn” is located on the 8th level of River Landing Shops in Miami. With an all white open format layout, it allows us to occupy up to 350+ standing guest. Our space includes meal prep area w/commercial refrigerator & counters for caterers, ADA compliant restrooms, floor to ceiling windows, and a skyline view of downtown Miami along the Miami River. Standard venue rentals include high boy and six-foot serving tables with fitted linen. Our rental packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum) includes a variety of items and services that fits your overall budget. We do not have a closed vendors list, however we do have a team of preferred and approved vendors ready to create the ultimate experience. For production rentals, you can choose to rent the space privately or shared. Our photography area is equipped with 10 foot backdrops, beauty dish, flash, small sets, and more.

This Brewery has a separate hidden private 1920's theme bar/lounge called The Speakeasy, which was actually the original bar of Spanish Marie. The Speakeasy is available to rent for any occasion, such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Corporate Meetings, Baby Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings and more. The Speakeasy holds up to 55 guests, and its equipped with surround sound system, projector, fireplace, two restrooms and outside seating. Rental fee includes access to a great variety of exclusive beers and your very own bartender. In-house catering available, outside catering and/or vendor is allowed for a fee. You may bring dessert/cake, at no charge.

We offer professional on-site coordination as well as work with professional event teams from the islands and beyond. Lahaina Loft is happy to share our list of talented Maui vendors we work with, however you are not required to use them. Our 1800 square foot commercial kitchen is a catering teams dream come true. Chefs can create their culinary delights right on property. Without having a liquor license, you may bring in your own alcoholic beverages and hire one of our craft beverage teams to service the beverages.
