Ashton Creek Vineyard is a family-owned and operated vineyard, tasting room, and event center set about 20 minutes south of Richmond, in Chester, Virginia. The estate holds Regenerative Certified status, reflecting its sustainable farming practices, and pairs a working vineyard with event spaces built for weddings and private celebrations. Historic Jasmine is a wedding and event venue set on a historic property in Providence Forge, Virginia, in New Kent County. The property was originally patented by surveyor and Virginia House of Burgesses member George Morris in 1680, and the current manor house dates to 1750. On October 8, 1781, the house served as a headquarters for General Washington's Revolutionary Army before troops proceeded to Yorktown for the war's decisive final engagement. The Morris family held the land until 1850, and Henry and Matte Brenneman acquired the property in 1918; a mural Matte painted in the front stairwell still adorns the residence today. The Smith family purchased the property in 2005 as a bed and breakfast, hosted their first wedding that October on the Manor House's front porch, and went on to develop the property into a full-time event venue. Historic Jasmine now hosts up to 200 guests across its garden and woodland settings, including the Chapel in the Woods, the Garden Pergola, and a 40-by-60-foot reception tent with an attached pavilion, string lighting, and crystal chandeliers. The Ward Center for Contemporary Art occupies a converted 1889 building in downtown Petersburg, Virginia — originally the Rucker Rosenstock department store, later Butterworth's Furniture, and reimagined through a 2014 renovation into a contemporary art gallery, event venue, and artist studios and lofts. The building sits in Petersburg's historic downtown district, about 25 minutes from Richmond. The venue's main gallery combines restored wood floors, 19-foot ceilings, two grand staircases, and a VIP loft mezzanine with rotating exhibitions of contemporary art on its walls, giving weddings, receptions, meetings, and classes a gallery backdrop rather than a standard banquet room. The space accommodates up to 500 guests standing, with tables and chairs provided for 250 seated guests. Renters have use of the space for a full day, along with kitchen facilities for an outside caterer of their choosing, a private dressing room, and wireless internet, and the venue is handicap accessible.

Saudé Creek Vineyards is a hilltop winery in Lanexa, Virginia, perched above the Pamunkey River between Richmond and Williamsburg. The property traces back to Frank's Tavern, a colonial-era inn and public house once frequented by travelers heading to and from Williamsburg; George Washington and French General Rochambeau are both said to have visited, and Martha Dandridge Custis lived nearby. Established in 2009 out of the earlier Saudé Creek Farms cider operation, the 100-acre property was developed by owner and winemaker Jason Knight, who planted apple trees and grape vines before opening the winery to the public in 2011. Today the venue offers several settings for private events. Arris Hall, the newest addition, accommodates up to 150 guests and overlooks the vines, river, and treetops. The Cottage, a small house down the hill with wrap-around porches over a private stretch of vineyard, hosts up to 50 guests for showers, reunions, and elopements.
