Built by owners Eric and Deborah Hauck in 2000 with the help of family and friends, the winery opened in September 2001 and is one of the original ten wineries established in Loudoun County. The first vines were planted in 1998, and the Haucks' favorite varietals include the French-American hybrids Vidal Blanc and Chambourcin, crafted with an Italian approach that yields softer-tannin, fruit-forward reds. Nestled in a grove of shady pine trees, the winery offers a cozy, relaxed atmosphere both indoors and out.
