Visitors can take use of the grounds for a standing reception prior to their function if the weather is warm enough. The Paces Space is equipped with an 80" flat screen monitor that is incorporated into the room and is HDMI compliant, which may be used for presentations. Canoe’s Wine Room is the ideal spot for smaller, more intimate celebrations and gatherings. The private room seats 10 to 18 guests at an impressive rectangular handcrafted wooden table that was built into the space. The interior of the room blends wood, brick, and ironwork with vintage-select, handcrafted wines, creating a warm, rich, inviting ambiance for our guests. In warmer weather, guests can enjoy and peruse the gardens for a standing reception prior to their event. The Wine Room is also equipped for presentations, with a specially fitted screen on-site available for rent. Canoe’s covered patio offers guests unparalleled views of the Chattahoochee River and surrounding manicured gardens. The patio can accommodate private dining groups of 15 to 20 guests at either one or two long wooden tables. Canoe’s River Garden offers a picturesque backdrop that will elevate any occasion. The tent is positioned on brick pavers and it’s interior features a tent liner, chandeliers on dimmer switches and pole curtains. Canoe provides fans for cross-ventilation during the warmer months and clear sidewalls and heaters on thermostats for the colder months. Live entertainment is permitted, DJ or band, and there is a noise restriction for entertainment at 10:00 p.m.

Established in 1849, Yarborough Mill is a privately owned historical property in a very unique setting. Once a working gristmill and thriving settlement at the turn of the century it has been transformed into a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Its special blend of architecture, from the gristmill at the water’s edge, to the stately Victorian home on the hillside, is perfectly situated in a beautiful pastoral setting on the water, creating a stunning background for your outdoor wedding. In 1998, the property was purchased and lovingly restored by the current owners to its original state. Their efforts to stay true to the original design is evident at every turn. Built in 1885, the Queen Anne style Victorian home creates a pituresque backdrop for pictures and a ceremony. A separate bridal cottage is also available and has plenty of room for the whole wedding party. The Pavillion area by the water is the perfect setting to recite your vows, and afterward, guests can proceed to the Mill for the reception. The William Root House is a historic wedding location in downtown Marietta, Georgia. The house was erected in 1845 by Hannah and William Root, who were among the first to establish Marietta. Today, the property serves as a museum and a private event venue, complete with magnificent grounds. The mansion and grounds have been meticulously restored, making it suitable for rustic wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, and other events. The town square is located next to the Marietta Square Market and can be accessed on foot in five minutes. Atlanta and Hartsfield-Atlanta International Airport are also around a 30-minute drive away. Indoor and outdoor event areas are available at the William Root House. The courtyard is a multi-purpose facility surrounded by well-kept vegetation. The courtyard can seat up to 70 people for a seated meal and up to 150 people for a ceremony or cocktail hour. The location has a lovely inside room with seats for up to 24 guests for smaller, more intimate occasions. A vaulted ceiling, white shiplap walls, raw wood floors, and a kitchen with marble countertops and a log cabin accent wall characterize the space. The Foxglove hosts private parties, gatherings, weddings, and receptions and was born out of a desire to see a magnificent old building repaired and revitalized while adding something new and interesting to the square. We've done everything we can to maintain faithful to the building's character and history, including keeping the original brickwork, steel-framed factory windows, and industrial overhead beams. The Foxglove and 131 LeFleur, located at 54 Atlanta Street, are conveniently placed walking distance from the historic Marietta Square. Champagne toasts in the garden courtyard, canapés under the sweeping draperies, and dancing under the original steel beams overhead. The Foxglove oozes the historical ambiance inherent to its Marietta Square setting, having been thoughtfully built with respect for the building's unique charm. The details have an exquisite, slightly industrial sense to them. Plenty of Accommodations The Foxglove can accommodate corporate events, private parties, and gatherings of up to 350 people, but because of our flexible space, we can also accommodate smaller gatherings.
