Krog Street was the location of the brand-new building that was constructed in the first year that it was in use. The interior is essentially identical to how it was found when it was initially discovered by explorers. You will be able to relive the excitement that they had through your own experience.   Cool Springs House is a restored 1830s log home in Brentwood, Tennessee, now operated by the City of Brentwood at Crockett Park. The house was built by the Carothers family, one of middle Tennessee's largest log homes at the time, and expanded in the 1870s with added halls and a Victorian front porch. A 1974 restoration by Karen and John Noel uncovered the original blue-poplar log construction beneath later coverings, work that earned the property a place on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1983. Today the venue hosts more than 100 events a year, offering exclusive use of the house and surrounding grounds for weddings, elopements, showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and celebrations of life.
