The Treman Center occupies a 6,000-square-foot restored 19th-century barn on the edge of Robert H. Treman State Park in Newfield, New York, roughly 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca. The structure was discovered in 2007 by master stone mason Kevin Reilly, who spent nearly a decade dismantling, relocating, and reconstructing it — weaving regional stonework and reclaimed barn materials into a facility that pairs historic craftsmanship with contemporary sustainability features. The center hosts workshops, retreats, and cultural events focused on environmental and social change, health and wellness, arts, culture, and spirituality. Its second floor accommodates up to 30 guests for small private gatherings. Log Country Inn B&B has offered a peaceful retreat on the edge of 7,000 acres of New York State forest since 1987. Founded by Wanda, a Polish emigrant who converted the rooms of her log cabin to welcome guests from around the world, the inn now comprises two properties — the original Log Country Inn and the All Welcome Inn — with six rooms total in Spencer, NY, about 11 miles south of Ithaca. The Ithaca Yacht Club occupies a stretch of Cayuga Lake's west shore, roughly 3.5 miles north of Cass Park and situated below the Glenwood Pines restaurant on Glenwood Road — making it Ithaca's only true lakeside event venue. The club opens its grounds for private events from May through October, welcoming weddings, corporate meetings, seminars, anniversaries, birthday parties, reunions, graduation celebrations, and other gatherings. Membership is not required to book an event. Indoor facilities accommodate up to 200 guests across the main clubhouse, blue awning patio, and member deck. For larger events, the grounds expand onto The Point, where a tent can be set up to host up to 400 guests. All food and beverage service is provided by ITH Hospitality, the club's exclusive on-site caterer, offering a full range of options from casual luncheons to formal banquet fare.
