Our Boat The Beneteau Oceanis 40 Center Cockpit optimizes comfort and easy living in a way that few boats in this category can approach. The deep centre cockpit gives excellent protection from the elements and the cutter rig and in-mast furling mainsail provide a versatile sail plan and good performance. Below deck, you will find the saloon which has a table with 'U' shaped seating and a well equipped chart table and navigation area. There are plenty of opening ports offering excellent ventilation and lots of natural light. The owners cabin boasts a huge amount of space you would normally only expect on a much larger yacht, with a centerline double berth, vanity unit and excellent storage. There is a generously sized en-suite heads compartment with a separate shower stall. The en-suite double guest cabin is forward of the saloon with a very practical layout. The campus encompasses several major indoor halls — Arnold Hall & Reilly Coliseum, Edwards Hall, and the E. Darwin Fuchs Pavilion — collectively spanning well over 160,000 square feet of air-conditioned, column-free space suited to trade shows, corporate retreats, concerts, banquets, and private events. The GFWC Coral Gables Woman's Club, established in 1923, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to making the South Florida community a better place to live by promoting education, health, and social welfare. A historic landmark with event facilities available for hire on the premises. It was erected in 1935 and can accommodate up to 240 people for a sit-down dinner and 200 guests for a buffet-style reception at its greatest capacity. Wood flooring has been installed throughout the house, as well as new drapes. All of the windows have been replaced as well. A limousine entry, as well as a romantic and comfortable setting, are available as amenities. The ballroom is illuminated by magnificent chandeliers. The ceilings are very high. There is a kitchen and a bar area. This ballroom may be booked in combination with the South Hall Ballroom, which is located just across the hall from it. This would allow you to have your ceremony in one ballroom and your reception in the other, saving money on space. Both facilities are managed by our rental agent. His exquisite ballroom, which was also completed in 1935, has recently been rebuilt and can accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down supper and 170 guests for a buffet-style lunch. All wood flooring, a kitchen, and a bar area are among the amenities. With its antique-looking magnificent design, rustic chandeliers, vaulted ceiling, limestone walls, and two fireplaces, this one-of-a-kind and cozy environment is given a renaissance touch by the Renaissance period. Originally built in 1974 as a 78,000-square-foot facility, the building has grown into the university's primary destination for major events, academic instruction, student services, and retail — a natural crossroads for the entire FIU community. For events, the Graham Center offers a suite of flexible spaces anchored by its Ballrooms, which can be configured as three separate bays — East, West, and Center — or opened as a single room accommodating up to 900 guests in a theater layout or 500 for a seated banquet. The center is staffed by an experienced event planning team with expertise in operations, logistics, and audiovisual production. In-house catering through Panthere Catering is available, along with a dedicated AV department and the option to reserve adjacent metered parking. CHEF ADRIANNE CALVO My story begins in 1984 in my hometown of Chicago Illinois, a food-obsessed city with a big culinary personality. As a kid, I wasn’t running home after school to kick around a ball or check out the latest video game, I was running into the kitchen to help my mom put dinner on the table! What I would learn later in life is these countless days spent watching her sprinkle a little bit of this and mixing in a little bit of that into delicious dishes my family and I relished in together is what inevitably started my drive to become a chef. After a scheduling mistake in high school that landed me in a cooking class rather than a journalism course on THE day hospitality giant Johnson & Wales University came to do a presentation, my professional journey began. And yes…I do believe in fate! I call that day the lightning strike. I entertained my competitive side with a slew of cooking competitions and was fortunate enough to be called upon by the Florida Marlins to cater the 2003 World Series. After graduating Johnson & Wales University, I took a position with the Five Diamond Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami. It was at the Mandarin Oriental where I learned first-hand from Executive Chef Patrick Lassaque the good, the bad, and the ugly of the restaurant business. Shortly thereafter, I landed in Napa Valley to stage with the great Chef Thomas Keller and Chef Cindy Pawlcyn. I still pinch myself that I was able to glean even a sliver of knowledge from these remarkable chefs. While some people thought a teenager had no business writing a cookbook, I had so many ideas, recipes, and food memories I wanted to make a reality since childhood that a book seemed like a natural next step. I mustered together what I could and self-published my first book, Maximum Flavor. Then, as fate would have it, the phone rang and a Montell Williams Show producer claimed to be on the other end (though I was convinced I was being pranked by a friend). They were preparing an episode on inspiring young entrepreneurs and wanted to invite me, as the youngest cookbook author, on the show. I was blown away and humbled beyond belief. Thanks to that appearance, I sold enough books to make my restaurant dreams a reality. We opened Chef Adrianne’s in 2007 in a Kendall strip mall. As a 22-year-old just starting out, my resources were limited, and this was where I could afford the four walls I needed to realize my dream. There were the obligatory naysayers that quipped about the location, but as people started to eat my food and taste my passion on a plate, it was their opinion that mattered most. Soon, Chef Adrianne’s was being labeled as a “hidden gem” or a “destination dining must”, which certainly was good enough for me. We guided the restaurant through the recession with just my trusted Sous Chef Eglis Siu (now Corporate Executive Chef) and I in the kitchen and successfully came out the other side. Next year, we celebrate Chef Adrianne’s 14th anniversary! I still don’t know how some of these went from idea to printed word, but I now count five cookbooks under my belt. I have many people to thank, including my hard-working team and my incredibly supportive friends and family. Chef Adrianne Calvo has taken her signature Maximum Flavor style under the sea! Redfish by Chef Adrianne serves as a rebirth of the famous Redfish Grill inside the historic Matheson Hammock Park. After years of traveling across the United States’ seafood capitals and the French Riviera, immersing herself in various cultures and learning from actual fishermen, Chef Adrianne has created a menu that mixes new American seafood with traditional fish house classics. What’s more, Redfish by Chef Adrianne features an extensive beer, wine, and whiskey library, to go along with craft cocktails designed by the chefs instead of mixologists, ultimately elevating the dining experience. With the opening of Redfish by Chef Adrianne, patrons can once again head into Matheson Hammock Park looking to enjoy the only waterfront restaurant in Coral Gables. There is a designated area that accommodates guests for your special event. All events will have a 2 hour maximum duration time. A final guest count will be needed 24 hours before the event.
