    New Beginnings Historic Farm

    5370 US-64, Rutherfordton, NC 28139, USA
    • Spaces for 250 Guests

New Beginnings Historic Farm is a working farm and event property set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, five minutes from Lake Lure and approximately an hour from Asheville. The land traces its history to the early 1900s, when it served as a community hub where locals purchased milk, cheese, and meat; its original proprietors, Dr. Adin and Lilly Rucker, were followed by the Biggerstaff family before John and Sheri Crenshaw purchased the property in 2013 and began restoring it to its agricultural roots. The farm's signature residents are a herd of Scottish Highland cattle — a heritage breed known for its long, wavy coat and calm temperament — alongside Nubian dairy goats and a resident fainting goat. Guests can experience the property through guided hiking tours of the half-mile trail, afternoon tea on the historic farmhouse porch overlooking the pastures, and extended farm stays in the on-site Grain Cottage.

    • Spaces for 600 Guests

Biltwell Event Center occupies a 1922 industrial building on Indianapolis's White River Parkway — a former window and door factory that owner Taki Sawi transformed into an event venue, welcoming its first events in 2015. The conversion preserved the structure's original character: exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, a freight elevator, antique fire doors, and a bank vault remain intact throughout the space, giving the venue a texture rarely found in purpose-built event halls. The venue accommodates weddings, corporate functions, nonprofit events, trade shows, and social gatherings, with rental packages that include Edison lighting, handcrafted farm tables, cross-back chairs, built-in bars, a full sound system with microphones, ceremony arch options, lounge seating, and a champagne wall. Complimentary parking is provided on-site. An in-house culinary team handles all food and beverage, with experienced catering sales managers present throughout each event. Outdoor decks with string lighting, outdoor furniture, and fire pits extend the usable space beyond the building's walls. Ceremony and reception packages include seven hours of event time with 10 a.m. vendor access, a two-hour rehearsal, and an engagement session. The venue can host up to two simultaneous events thanks to sound-proof walls between spaces, and it sits less than ten minutes from downtown Indianapolis.

Lamborn Farm is a historic wedding and event venue on a working farmstead in Leavenworth, Kansas. The property dates to 1877, when Horace and Rosemond Lamborn established it as a subsistence farm — a legacy now carried forward by the fourth generation of the family under Joseph and Valerie Lamborn, who also cultivate crops and raise grass-fed beef on the land today. The centerpiece of the venue is a red barn built in the 1890s, fully restored in 2011 and 2012 using original materials. The structure is listed on both the Kansas and National Register of Historic Places, and earned a Kansas Preservation Alliance Award for Excellence in 2012. Beyond weddings, the farm welcomes private celebrations of all kinds — baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, graduations, and more.
