Now celebrating its 12th season, the farm was designed from the ground up to host weddings in a setting that is rustic, beautiful, and functional. The main structure is an all-wood barn with 7,000 square feet of cement floor, heated and air-conditioned throughout, with attached pavilions, a breezeway, and shed porches that allow guests to move freely under shelter. Exposed rafters, rough-sawn wood walls, lantern lighting, a stack stone fireplace, and an antique buckboard wagon give the space its distinctive character. Outside, pristine meadows, a spring-fed pond with a lighted fountain, and views of the North Georgia mountains provide the backdrop for ceremonies at three dedicated sites: The Meadow, The East Lawn, and The Fireplace Room. Weekend packages are built around a full itinerary: Friday rehearsal dinner, Saturday ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and a Sunday brunch. A scenic walking trail and a playground round out the grounds. The park's fireplace shelter is available for seasonal rental, making it a straightforward pick for picnics and other outdoor daytime gatherings. The shelter houses eight picnic tables and two grills and rents for $95 a day between 9 a.m. and dark. A smaller shelter with two picnic tables of its own sits nearby for more casual get-togethers. The fireplace shelter sits within a few feet of the park's main parking lot, keeping loading and unloading simple, and it's close to both the playground and handicapped-accessible restrooms. It's also within walking distance of the nationally recognized Wine Cellars. Anderson Lake remains open to visitors until dusk, except in poor weather.
