Founded in 1890, The Woman's Club of Louisville occupies a Beaux Arts landmark at 1320 South Fourth Street, completed in 1922 from designs by architect E.T. Hutchings. The building's formal rooms — a banquet-sized dining room, a library, and a grand hall connecting to the theater — have hosted Louisville's civic and social gatherings for more than a century. The clubhouse accommodates up to 250 guests for cocktail receptions and 156 for seated dinners, supported by a commercial catering kitchen. An adjacent theater seats 616 and is acoustically designed for recitals, ceremonies, lectures, and performances. The Frazier House, a historical mansion on the property, adds a ballroom suited to wedding receptions and showers, with a Memory Garden — designed by landscape architect Rodney Hord and enclosed by original wrought iron fencing — available for outdoor gatherings. Boxwood Lodge was highlighted for its statewide significance in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and social history when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The 51 acre estate was divided into 9 smaller portions in 2001 so they could be sold one at a time at auction. The present owners bought Boxwood Lodge and its 51 acres at the auction in order to preserve the land and maintain all tracts and buildings under a single ownership. They wanted to bring back the splendor of Boxwood Estate and preserve both its heritage and its hidden gem for future generations. Since 2002, the manor, cabin, carriage house, and grounds have all undergone extensive renovations that adhere to "standards for rehabilitation and is consistent with the historic character of the property or district in which it is located." The National Park Service of the United States Department of Interior has designated Boxwood, a building that is officially recognized as being historic, as a "certified rehabilitation."

National Golf Club is a private, family-friendly country club established in 1965 in Fort Washington, Maryland, minutes from National Harbor and roughly 20 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Alexandria. The 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by Ted Robinson Sr. and plays to 6,742 yards across rolling terrain with elevation changes and challenging wavy greens. The clubhouse hosts events for members and the public alike, including weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, proms, anniversary and birthday celebrations, charity events, corporate meetings, and golf outings.
