American River Resort is a 30-acre riverside property in Coloma, California, set along the South Fork of the American River in the heart of California's Gold Country — 45 minutes northeast of Sacramento and under two hours from the Bay Area. The resort hosts weddings and private celebrations against a backdrop of river rapids, towering oaks, and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Two outdoor riverside venues accommodate events of different scales. River's Edge hosts ceremonies and receptions for up to 250 guests at river-level sites along the South Fork, where the sound and energy of the rushing rapids carry throughout the weekend. Dutch Creek, situated where Dutch Creek meets the American River at the base of Mount Murphy, offers a more intimate setting for up to 150 guests. Both venues are booked on an exclusive-use basis from Friday afternoon through Sunday midday, giving couples and their guests full access to the property for the weekend. The Barn at Second Wind is a private event venue set on 6 acres of landscaped grounds along River Road, about 15 minutes south of downtown Sacramento. At the entrance stands an 80-year-old Heritage Valley Oak tree, and the centerpiece of the property is a 1940s galvanized metal barn offering 1,800 square feet of event space with polished cement floors, exposed wooden beams, and an original 1940s chandelier. The property accommodates up to 130 guests and provides multiple ceremony settings, including a spot beneath the heritage oak or under a wrought iron arch. Guests gather on the back patio among hay bales between ceremony and reception, and seasonal scenery — spring mustard fields and nearby riverside railroad tracks — adds to the venue's character. The barn's interior is appointed with hand-built 14-foot wooden tables and a curated inventory of décor and vintage furnishings available to couples. An on-site manager coordinates with vendors throughout the event, and exclusive use of the property is included. Complimentary guest parking, rehearsal access, and setup time the day prior round out the offering, making The Barn at Second Wind a self-contained setting for weddings, private parties, and family reunions.

Wedding ceremonies and celebrations with up to 300 people are most commonly held at our homestead, also known as the "Lawn Area." Huge trees, lush vegetation, and our Chinese Pistach Tree provide the ideal setting for saying "I do" in this roomy area. Wedding celebrations, cocktail hours, and dancing are all ideal in our Courtyard! 150 people can be seated in this cozy environment, and there is enough for 150+ people to dance and enjoy drinks. The ideal atmosphere to enjoy spending time with your visitors is created by our original fireplace and string lights hanging above our concrete pad. Our famous Pool House's original fireplace area is behind it. As guests swell near our pool, this area is perfect for cocktail hour and dancing for up to 300 people. The area will be lit up with string lights, and your guests will enjoy lounging by the fire while playing horseshoes and bocce ball that are provided. The first Yolo County Fair ever was held in the 1930s at Maples Stables, a barn. For wedding ceremonies, luncheons, rehearsal dinners, and even first-look pictures, these traditional green doors offer a charming backdrop! Your guests will soak in the history as they relax in this room, which has enough capacity for 200 people. It is located in the back of our property.

McConnell Estates Winery is an award-winning, family-owned winery set on 650 acres in the Cosumnes River AVA within the Lodi appellation, just south of Elk Grove, California. The property has been farmed by the Wackman family across six generations, and the historic tasting room occupies a ranch house originally built by the family in 1860. All wines are estate-grown and produced on-site, reflecting more than two decades of winemaking rooted in the land's distinctive red clay soils. For private events, the winery offers several gathering spaces accommodating groups from under 20 to 200 guests. The Historic Event Barn seats up to 125 guests indoors, with the option to expand to 200 by opening onto the adjacent Cocktail Courtyard. The Ceremony Lawn provides an outdoor setting for up to 200 guests framed by vineyard backdrops. Historic Hotel Woodland is a Spanish Colonial Revival landmark on Main Street in Woodland, California, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Completed in 1928 and designed by prominent Bay Area architect W. H. Weeks, the hotel was built to serve as an upscale gathering place for Yolo County's most populous city. A multi-million dollar, 39-month restoration completed in 1997 returned the property to its original grandeur — meticulously preserving the hotel's architecture, artwork, sculpture, alcoves, shaded patio, and graceful fountain. The venue's spacious, beautifully restored ballroom and dining room open onto a classic enclosed Spanish-style patio with a bubbling fountain and shade trees, accommodating up to 300 guests. The Historical Yolanda Ranch home was built in 1870 by George Cobbs, with Stamp and Gilbert as designers and contractors. The home cost $10,000 to construct which included 2 coats of paint, paperwork shows that in 1960 1 coat of paint for the whole house cost $3,000. Byron Jackson was the original owner of the 160 acres who decided upon grapes and fruit growing, and laid the foundation for the present extensive horticultral enterprise. Byron Jackson was the inventor of the centrifugal pump, he sold the ranch to George Hecke in 1905 to pursue his pump buisness in San Francisco. Goerge Hecke was Born in England where he studied horticulture. Leila Hecke, daughter of George Hecke married Charles Hardy and together they ran the ranch for many years. Charles Hardy was Yolo Countys Agricultural Commissioner in 1930 -1963. The Broward Family purchase the Ranch in 1990, where they have been establishing strong roots. The 3rd generation has recently begun to enjoy the surrounding of the beautiful property! Jamee Lynne and her husband were the 1st of many couples to be married on the gorgeous property in 2005. Founded in 2009, the property pairs a state-of-the-art winemaking facility with event spaces that open directly onto acres of surrounding vineyard. The indoor event space accommodates up to 50 seated guests and features wall-to-wall sliding glass doors overlooking the vineyard, a 65-foot flat-screen TV, complimentary WiFi, a full sound system, and multiple setup configurations. The location has a gorgeous wedding stairway that leads to the reception pavilion and pond. A huge deck area, catering cabin, and barbecue area are also included. The wedding couple also receives a complimentary overnight stay at the inn. Empire Mine State Historic Park is a 856-acre California state park in Grass Valley, situated in the Sierra Nevada foothills approximately 24 miles north of Auburn on Highway 49. The park preserves one of the oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines in California — a site that operated for more than 100 years and yielded 5.8 million ounces of gold before closing in 1956. At the heart of the park stands the historic Bourn Cottage, the former summer residence of the mine's owner, surrounded by restored English-style gardens with fountains, stately trees, and meticulously maintained grounds. The cottage and its gardens serve as the setting for small, intimate wedding ceremonies, accommodating up to 25 guests in an atmosphere of preserved history and natural beauty. The park's event offerings are intentionally minimal to honor its historic character: ceremonies take place outdoors on Fridays and Saturdays from May through early October, with no receptions permitted. Blue Line Arts is a regional arts nonprofit and gallery venue in Roseville, California, serving Placer County and the Greater Sacramento region since 1966. Originally founded as Roseville Community Projects Incorporated, the organization relocated in 2008 to its current purpose-built facility at 405 Vernon Street — a state-of-the-art space that houses rotating exhibitions alongside a dedicated education wing for youth and adult programming. The Entire Facility encompasses all three galleries — the West Park Workshop Gallery, Coker Family Main Gallery, and Broad Education Gallery with patio — and accommodates up to 250 guests.
