Birch Hill Catering has been a fixture of Hudson Valley hospitality since 1936, bringing more than 80 years and four generations of expertise to weddings, corporate gatherings, and social events throughout the Albany and Capital Region. The company operates two distinct venues — Birch Hill Estate and Stablegate Farm & Vineyard — together offering nine unique indoor and outdoor event spaces suited to celebrations of every scale. Birch Hill Estate features two ballrooms and three covered pavilions set amid manicured grounds, while Stablegate Farm & Vineyard brings a 19th-century Dutch barn, a Lodge for intimate gatherings, and multiple outdoor spaces with views of the Catskill Mountains. Both locations are in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY. The culinary program is built on made-from-scratch cooking with locally inspired ingredients, led by an on-site chef. Each event includes complimentary coordination services, and customizable packages extend to rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, and off-premise catering across the region.

The Barn & Greenhouse Our 3,000-square-foot greenhouse can comfortably accommodate upwards of 200 guests seated banquet style. The greenhouse is structurally tied into an adjoining 2,000-square-foot barn, which serves as a multi-use event space with a bar and five bathrooms, as well as the lobby for The Greenhouses hotel—with white walls, modern sconces, and wood floors. Behind the greenhouse, an open-air, walled patio is an additional space for wedding proceedings—ceremony, cocktail hour, what have you. The stone patio connects to The Greenhouses Kitchen, built on the site of a former cement block warehouse, where we serve breakfast for our guests each morning. They must be professional Planners with a legitimate business.

The Arkell Museum at Canajoharie is an art museum and library situated in the Mohawk Valley of upstate New York. Founded by Bartlett Arkell — the first president of the Beech-Nut Packing Company — the original building opened in 1925, with a dedicated gallery wing added in 1927 and a major expansion completed in 2007. The permanent collection emphasizes American paintings from 1860 to 1940, including works by Winslow Homer, Childe Hassam, John Singer Sargent, Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Hart Benton, and Gilbert Stuart. Permanent galleries also cover Mohawk Valley history and a collection of early Beech-Nut advertising material. Private events are accommodated in the Great Hall, a large open room with natural light flowing through high windows and a distinctive floor painted as a map of the surrounding area. The space seats up to 120 guests at tables and is well suited to weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, and seminars.
